The G6 Rhino is a monster! This 6x6 SPG is carrying a 155mm Cannon that can fire HE and Proximity rounds. This thing was a blast to play and I hope you enjoy the video!

The G6 to me is just a supped up waffenträger on rubber wheels instead of caterpillar tracks
This thing looks so much like a crossout vehicle, it's like the designers just built something in that game, then asked themselves "ok so how do we make this a thing IRL?"

The location of the cockpit up at the very front... This SPG feels like it could be a GI Joe toy.
Battle 360?
Thin profile from the front at a distance.
Slight downward slope, not too much to be exposed try to avoid getting hit on turret and from front, it's odd because hitting this thing centre mass does so little damage.
But hit it front on and or side of turret shells go right through. I avoud taking more than 15 shells, because I don't want ammo in the nose.
Just remember it's a desert tank, stay far far away from the main battle, even further than you usually go with a sniper tank. This thing can shoot 2km easy to 5km xd if you set your sights manually.

Also, if you didnt know, the proxy shell works on tanks, after 300 metres you can top down people.

Now that we've got more self propelled artillery, here's some that Gaijin NEEDS to add:
US: M7 Priest.
Germany: Hummel, Wespe, Grille.
USSR: 2S1, SU-14.
UK: Sexton, Bishop, Deacon.

Italy, alongside Germany: Panzerhaubitze 2000 (or the Paladin with US, but we retired them for the PzH 2000).
I had a small duel with one of these whilst in a Huey cobra. I had no rockets left with only mini guns in the turret (near stock is fun) and suddenly sighted him on my teams flank, I ended up about 1-2 meters above him trying to get him with the mini guns whilst he tried to shoot me.
I have never been so surprised when this things barrel elevated so much, and it turned into a game of me trying to stay directly above him whilst he tried to bring his gun to bear. Actually saw a massive HE round fly just past my tail from him just before a friendly got him.
Hi Bo I'm from South Africa and my dad used this vehicle on the boder during Angola Conflict
All I could think of while durning this video is “I had a transformer of that” and after some looking, there was a transformer based off of the g6 rhino. His name was big shot

I love the thing, but I do find it underwhelming at the BR, the HE I've found does so little I don't know whether it's not been modeled correctly but kills I would get with the Bkan, I don't get with this.
Maybe because of filler and speed of the shell?
@@jesusdeputy931 speed of shell is slightly higher on the G6 and the filler is about 2kg larger

@@user-gx6tu3mf4k Proxy shell is completely unreliable for that, the Type-75 has a PF shell.
Plus the PF shell is awful to have loaded for to kill a tank, if you forget and aim for the side it will do nothing as just bounces off and a lot of 7.0-8.0 tanks have tough enough roof armour that only a PF shell inches above the tank will work, considering its a 3metre radius its one hell of a finnicky thing to use.

The G6 six also known as the anti-air-self-propelled-howitzer, it was one of the greatest spg's for destroying planes. Great vid Bo also nice plane kills.

For everyone who doesn't know the reason behind South Africa's heavy emphasis on wheeled vehicles, its due to SA being mainly open flat land (plus it lets them drive on roads without destroying them), The SA doctrine focuses on taking advantage of this with high speed and mobility to outflank and ambush slower tracked forces of other nations. On a side note the massive wedge on the front of the G6 is to push bushes down so it can drive over.
And today the most modern SPG systems today (the Swedish Archer, the Israeli ATMOS, the French CEASAR, among others) are wheeled platforms. So in many respects, the Rhino is a pioneering unit.
I enjoy watching you and your friends because I can see how much fun a friend group can have when playing this game... I have no War Thunder friends. ;-;

I couldn't be sure if this new vehicle was Russian until I noticed the 30-second reload, and then there was no doubt in my mind
Part of me is REALLY excited to see BO do a video on the challanger 2 premium and the lighting F5 because that fucker turns nicely.

step 2. load the VT shell
step 3. fire shell at spitfire
step 4. watch as wings fold upwards thus increasing the amount of space available in the hanger.
results may vary depending on aircraft conversion, altitude, speed, and accuracy.

Well if you really want to know who designed the Rhino, its Denel Land Systems of South Africa in the 1970s. It was first used during the notorious South African Border War in the late 1970s and has been with the South African Army ever since.

Cos the added armor on the front of this tank looks like cockpit windows to me; it makes it seem like some kind of sci-fi tank. Like what you'd see in a Real-Time Strategy game like Command & Conquer.
The Marksman turret was never fitted to the G6, but in theory could, only a small model of the G6 Marksman was made.

Can you please play the m60a1 dc ariete, i own this tank and has helped me to grind out italy in less than a year and ive made over 6 million sl with it, ive bounced shots from tanks at 10.0 and its very survivable, it bounces most shots, pls play it.
