It's nice to see that they've upgraded the area. It couldn't have been done any sooner. The population growth was not anticipated by governments, plus the financing wasn't available until now. This highway helps in lowering crime to a certain degree. Th as nks for sharing. 😊😮😊

I used to live in Harbour View, and I remember a big clothing store on Winward Rd in the 70s and 80s. I can remember it had steps leading up to the entrance. I caught a glimpse of it in 2007, but I can't find it in your videos. Any clue as to the store I am referring to? I haven't been home in 15 years.
I wasn’t even aware that there was a clothing store in this area. I’ve been in the East since in the 80s myself and as @RosieC061 said the KFC was the only building I know to be in that spot. If you did see it in 2007 maybe it’s at a different location along Windward Road.
Glad for this video. Wish you did turn up on Harbour Road though. Grew up there but haven't been there in 25 years. Curious bout how up there look now but haven't been back. Don't think it would be a good idea to drive go up there now since nobody from that side woulda know/remember me.
