It's been awhile since I've watched it but I believe you should have seen Alphard's escape from CIA custody already, the duel between Canaan and Alphard on the train is the climax of the series, you should be hitting more action and plot development in 3 and 4. If I remember the plot does take awhile to form but once it comes together it goes.

The characters in the anime, the ones that are dodging bullets and such, are super-powered. Canaan, the white haired girl, uses what is called synesthesia to aid her in combat. By doing so, she is able to percieve things that normal people cannot. And no, if you watch closely, she isn't simply running straight when being shot at. Her movements are much more swirly and twirly. Btw, most action movies have this problem, so quit complaining and watch the damn show if you want to understand things.
Dude... the audience should know that alphard is alive even before they give canaan the new mission... when the little boy crashed into her by mistake and saw that she had no arm proved she was alive

It's good but not amazing. It has some freaking awesome action scenes, but the story is a little dull and some of the relationships between the characters are awkward to say the least. It reminded me of a mixture between black lagoon and darker than black for some reason.
