Don't read this next bit if you intend to watch the anime based on this amv. Or do... I don't really care. Anyway it's amazing how the song, selected scenes and the order they're shown in affects perception. Personally I walked in expecting a sort of 'every man for himself, cause we all want to kill each other!' type of show and the anime's not that at all. It's more of a 'trust no one' mystery. Brilliance at its most simplest, yet finest.

The ending doesn't really suck in my opinion, because there is more story after that. It's an adaptation of a light novel series and the anime only covers the first book. That's why the ending feels abrupt and everything. I just wish they would continue the anime because it only gets better in my opinion later on. Yeah, she's really pretty. I would like to cosplay her sometime.

Well HE IS THE TRUE VILLAIN OF THE SERIES not the evil god only Him. Tgurneu is so terrifyingly smart he is smarter than Kira or Batman, everything that happens in the series is part of his plan AND I MEAN EVERYTHING I wish we could have got at least an adaptation of the second novel because believe me his charismatic behaviour, viciousness and most importantly his terrifying plans that always work could have been great to watch in a anime adaptation

The ending was fine, it's the place it stopped with no follow up that led anime viewers to misunderstand it. Peoples who were reading the novels didn't have any problem with the events that happened at the end of the anime, because they had a way to know the way it goes afterwards.
