I don't know why it's so hard to find really honest airsoft review content done to a professional quality that consistently has the right amount of detail on youtube, but I know I can rely on Josef to keep pumping it out. Very helpful video. I think I'll go with the SSP1 for now and later when all of the accessories are available for the SSP18 I'll get that one too. I have a small problem with small firearms. I want them all. :D
A good way to fix the iron sight problem on the SSP 1 is to take yellow paint and put it on the front dot on the front iron sight, so that way it's a little easier to distinguish the front from the back iron sights
I like how you’re a real shooter I’m only trying to get the ssp18 because I want something to resemble my Glock 34 so I can train my draw and target acquisition.
I see another advantage of the SSP18. According to the website, the SSP18 is still playable at 0° to 15°C with super high pressure gas ... the SSP1 only from 10° to 25°C with super high pressure gas. If that's really the case, you can do without the Co2 magazine with the SSP18, which also has the advantage that you don't have any problems with the joule limits on most playing fields in germany, since Co2 usually has more than 1 joule. Or am I wrong ?

After about 200 gbb pistols that i have upgraded and maintained, i must say, that only half of the things you have said makes sense. Lets see the other side. -Every airsofter, who has some experience knows, that fun button is not always fun. I've never seen more broken slides then on the glock 18c platform. Right now, I dont see why the ssp18 will be more durable, but it is a New product, so I'll try to stay open for it. -if we are talking about modifications, i think theres no better platform then the hicapa. You literally can find parts for it in any bush. -although i understand your concerns about open hammers, i must say, that even if its the 21th centaury, the glock without hammer issues is not found out. I've seen much more of them with hammer problems, then hicapas. -theres a reason why in aipsc competitions and speedsoft competitions people use hicapas. Its Easier, to maintain, more durable, and a more reliable platform. -while i like how u try to customize the ssp18, theres also a lot of room for the ssp1 to improve. I'd like to see some improvements on that Project aswell. So at the end. I like your video and how you introduce the New product that i think is mostly your invention. I also like the customizing options of it. But, because theres always but ( :)), I'd like to see these improvements on the ssp1 also. Very informative video. I will probably stay with my ssp1 though. I like heavy guns with heavy recoil and since full auto is banned in Germany anyways, the ssp18 isn't really worth it for me since I already have a really good Airsoft sidearm with the ssp1. If I didn't have the ssp1 already I think I would have a really hard time choosing between these two.
@@bzepha8414 definitely. I bought mine in early 2019 and used it a lot since then. Most of the time outdoors and not always in the greatest weather. It still shoots like on day one. Events are rare now so in the last year I have mainly done some target shooting with it on the weekends. Maintenance is easy, it feels great to use and both co2 and greengas shoots equally well. I use co2 in the winter and greengas in the rest of the year. I have done no modifications to it, except for the magwell, so I can't tell you, if or how much they improve it.
@@bzepha8414 I have one as well that I use a ton. Shoots great but had 2 small issues with it. Whenever it would run out of bbs the slide wouldn't lock back. But novristch has great customer service and after sending me a few parts at no cost to me they sent the cutout slide for free to fix it and sure enough it did. My other issue is the hopup likes to move around so I frequently have to adjust it. Other than that it is an amazing gun and I have no regrets buying it.

There's a third option too, a decocked hammer with double action first shot. The hardest to get used to but the best one IMHO. But I like the other two methods too I have all kinds of pistols.
This is an emotional story for me. Like Audi vs BMW. In airsoft world: Now there are Audi and BMW with Novritsch markings, rear wings and wide tires. But it still remains an Audi or a BMW. You can buy the Novritsch or you can buy the base and put rear wings and wide tires on it yourself.

I like the extra weight of the SSP1 (just recently bought one as my first pistol), and i know you don't like the rabbit hole but from a technical standpoint wouldn't a heavier airsoft pistol be more accurate than a lighter one? Also i bought the SSP1 because i saw a youtube video of a guy getting accurate hits at 300 ft (91.4m) with a stock out of the box CO2 SSP1. My SSP1 not even broken in shoots at 360 fps with CO2 i'm curious how the SSP18 performs because i'm thinking of pistol only games or for a sniper pistol that good range is important or? looks like a great pistol that SSP18 but i love my ssp1 with lov powered loading nozzle and co2 mags it's shoots accurate like a hell after few upgrades, i think for ssp1 needs hi capa hop wheel, it gives great hop movement for hop up adjustment
When I say I dont like glocks, I mean the loose glock barrel, but novritsch made a glock that I like, but in one condition... I dont like the safety trigger on it, I will fix the trigger safety when I get one👍

@I.Am. Abd Out of these two? SSP1 will be more reliable and durable, SSP18 will have better range. Tho TM Hi capa will outperform both, as well as ASG CZ P-09 or SP-01 Shadow/Shadow 2.
1 co2 cartridge gives you two mags, ssp1 can be intimidating it is loud. Def prob one of the better out of the box guns, never been a fan of glocks but just my opinion. With ssp1 it is a must to clean weekly or it will jamb up
Does anyone know when the functional baseplate is coming? I'm looking to buy a SSP18 but want to wait until i can buy all the bits in one go as Customs are a pain!
My ssp1 has always problems, my gas mag falls out when i shot, my slide gets stuck in place and i can't slide it back, slide doesn't catch when mag is empty..... i have the cut out slide and i use black gas because it is cold now.... i don't know if i should get the ssp18 is it more reliable??? i don't even play often and i maintain it as i should
i've never seen anyone else report these issues about the SSP 1...perhaps contact support and they can help with those issues (maintenance?...very cold?)
@@helisoma the slide catch is now good i replaced it with the gen 2 slide catch, the mag was scraped where it should click in place i have a new one so that is fixed and the other problems where from the mag i am really happy now i have also the ssg10 a1 also really good and the sse 18

Glock platform is superior to Hicapa, anytime. Mold can be thicker/few moving parts. Very Good review. But need to improve on your background more, kinda Dull(Opinion...Sometimes matter : ) Cheers.
i'm a beginner too to airsoft and the SSP1 has a BIG kick...it's almost violent on CO2. That might be too much for a beginner (although i like the realism). Both seem to be extremely reliable in reviews so maybe a lighter, not as hard kicking pistol like the SSP18 is a good choice for beginner. I got the SSP1 for the 31 bb mag and extreme range since i don't really need full auto.
So yeah, ssp18 has something more to offer than ssp1 but main reason is that its new and even players who owns ssp1 already, will be up to buy ssp18 after these reviews and videos which were always made for advertisement purpose.. :)
The ssp18 is already full auto, you can switch between full auto and semi, but I red comment above when the guy sad that in Germany is full auto banned, I don’t know the rules in Germany but first check rules on your field.

I can't shoot .40 with the KAC PDW itd like too eak idk what do you use to acheive that, i guess its due to the gas ? (i use protechguns greengas)

1 co2 cartridge gives you two mags, ssp1 can be intimidating it is loud. Def prob one of the better out of the box guns, never been a fan of glocks but just my opinion. With ssp1 it is a must to clean weekly or it will jamb up

My ssp1 has always problems, my gas mag falls out when i shot, my slide gets stuck in place and i can't slide it back, slide doesn't catch when mag is empty..... i have the cut out slide and i use black gas because it is cold now.... i don't know if i should get the ssp18 is it more reliable??? i don't even play often and i maintain it as i should
i've never seen anyone else report these issues about the SSP 1...perhaps contact support and they can help with those issues (maintenance?...very cold?)
@@helisoma the slide catch is now good i replaced it with the gen 2 slide catch, the mag was scraped where it should click in place i have a new one so that is fixed and the other problems where from the mag i am really happy now i have also the ssg10 a1 also really good and the sse 18

Glock platform is superior to Hicapa, anytime. Mold can be thicker/few moving parts. Very Good review. But need to improve on your background more, kinda Dull(Opinion...Sometimes matter : ) Cheers.

i'm a beginner too to airsoft and the SSP1 has a BIG kick...it's almost violent on CO2. That might be too much for a beginner (although i like the realism). Both seem to be extremely reliable in reviews so maybe a lighter, not as hard kicking pistol like the SSP18 is a good choice for beginner. I got the SSP1 for the 31 bb mag and extreme range since i don't really need full auto.

So yeah, ssp18 has something more to offer than ssp1 but main reason is that its new and even players who owns ssp1 already, will be up to buy ssp18 after these reviews and videos which were always made for advertisement purpose.. :)

The ssp18 is already full auto, you can switch between full auto and semi, but I red comment above when the guy sad that in Germany is full auto banned, I don’t know the rules in Germany but first check rules on your field.
