Its an M38 passibly...if the frame was MB or GPW there should be a plate under the rear floor for a machinegun mount...and the rear floor shouldve had shock covers sticking up... It appears to be a mish-mash of M38 and MB/GPW and locally sourced parts
I don't know much about Jeeps. All I can say is it's too bad to let it sit there in the open. It need some serious tender loving care. A next project car perhaps? Great video. Cheers.
Back in the early 70's in Baguio City, my dad, working for the Phil gov't had a service jeep painted Blue exterior, as a youth sitting on the front passenger side, in front of me was a little metal sign that says Willy's made in Toledo Ohio USA (something like that) I always wondered where that far away place was.
Looks like a Mitsubishi jeep. I have seen one before in AUstralia. Early ones had a flathead motor and later models had the bonnet raised up and a oho motor.

I don't think it is. I own a Mitsubishi Jeep myself, a 1988 model. I'm pretty sure now it's an M38, though not very original.
