There are two type of racism act that the comment can be judged by and that is 1) implicit bias and 2) explicit bias. Implicit bias is bias that you are unconsciously aware of and explicit bias is a bias that you are consciously aware of. Implicit bias is derived from your environment and is store in your subconscious making you not consciously aware you have a specific bias. It appears to me that the woman in this video was caught off guard by the brother’s reply to her about European fleeing Europe. This was highlighted by her weak defense of her bias (racist) comment. I don’t think she was aware that she had mad a racist statement until the brother vigorously checked her.
