The Lange One Darth. Grail material.

- Today we are having a closer look at my grail watch. The A.Lange & Sohne Lange 1 , aka the 'Darth'. reference 101.035.
My attraction to this piece comes from my background in Photography, this watch looks nothing like the classic dials that we are used to seeing, it even looks random, or asymmetrical... yet every little thing is there for a reason...
Also, you won't want to be skipping the intro this time. How many grails can you spot there (answer down below) and what is your absolute grail ?

The object of the quest (the grail) is unattainable.
But the quest itself,
is a noble and worthwhile thing.
is just "waiting" for something that should be more attainable noble too ? because I'm kinda tired of it :p

To me a grail is still something within reach but you just have to stretch for. If we're using the definition of completely unobtainable I'd say mine is a blue dial Patek Nautilus 5711. I still remember the first time I saw one on the internet and I attribute it to my love of watches today.
Im afraid attaining my grail would feel like end game 🫠

JLC atmos infinite, check it out, if you like the style of the lange, i guess you will like that one too and the engeniering is mindblowing.
If you have 7 inches wrist, which you'll buy lange1 darth or new grand range 8.2m thin?

I see grail as a watch that is possible but a lot harder to attain for a number of reasons. The joys of watch collecting. Great video as always Tom.
