for Gulf Arabs especially Omani and the Emirates .. there are tribal and regional ways of wearing the keffiya / massar... also occasions such as a wedding or funeral or government functions can dictate the style you wear ... this is more understood within the tribes and native populations .. guests and tourists rarely get informed of our customs
