Just discovered this absolute legend
If you go to his website and read the bio, this man knows exactly what he's doing. Musically educated (plus a law degree) he's optimized his gift and we're enjoying the finished product. IMHO Mike's a success because he's an accomplished working entertainer and has millions of youtube fans (like me). He's living his dream everyday. How many can say that?
I can assure you that he pays a hell of a lot of money in royalities to the original composers and the companies who ownes the rights.. Much more than ppl would know of. :)

My fellow friend/lawyer and I love these guys' music. This friend recently told me that Mike and Jeff are lawyers. Not just lawyers but a Public Defender and a Prosecutor. They have to be great guys in order to work together. Stick with music, guys. You're far too talented to be lawyers. Ha!

I've often wondered how artists/writers feel when they hear their songs being done better than they did originally. You guys make this happen to them on a VERY regular basis. Just amazing talent here.

You have just made me laugh so much i spilt my coffee, I have only recently started watching Mike Masse and the guy is superb.... So why is he playing in a pizza shop, in fact why am i still playing in my bedroom at 55!!! as for Bieber, West etc Life just moves in curious ways ... oh well back to my bedroom..
I find that every song they do is way better than the originals, I don't listen to anyone anymore other than Mike and Jeff. ALL YOU NEED!

The fact that Mike Masse plays where he plays speaks miles to what he's doing. When someone sings U2 songs with a very minimal live set up and can consistenly sound better then Bono live.... Priceless I'll send links to Mike's videos all day.

It's like watching Clark Kent do these songs and we all know it's Superman singing but the crowd has no idea. There is something very cool about The Pie Years videos though.
yeah them singing in the pizzeria is so epic, maybe because it's a small venue and they were unknowns at the time or too few people clapping....idk.... it just gives off this really cool vibe in those pizzeria videos

I stumbled on this video by accident. I have no idea who this duo is, but I've watched about eight of their youtube videos and love them. Great covers and in many cases, better than the original.
