I'm really glad to of found Mike! Random recommendation in my feed after funnily enough looking for a couple songs literally to sing to annoy my wife 😄😄😄 She gets increasingly frustrated the more I get lyrics wrong (On purpose!) Then him & Jeff are belting out covers like this!? Linger!? Africa!? All unreal examples of how talented these guys are & they really do put you in a better head space 100%

That's what i love about covers made good. The ones that try to be "original" are 95% worse. Play the same way and show you are as good or better than original. This one is so good btw. Close to original. Perfectly played on emotions during that cover. Great job you guys!
Jeff's bass playing really shines on this one. It may not be super complicated, but his timing and way of playing is spot-on.

I can’t believe after one of the greatest live performances by anyone ever, the crowd basically forgot to clap. I have to laugh because it’s capture here for everyone to truly enjoy. Imagine being there in person and not noticing at all.

Sorry but I don't agree AT ALL. He DOES add his own style, not only in the way he decorates the melody but also he doesn't sing in the exact times Elton does. It's definitely different from the original song.
And that doesn't make it bad, in fact it makes it beautiful and gives sense to the act of making a cover

Makes my heart bleed - such great musicians and so well rehearsed performing to morons who when the song has ended decide a long time after to give some applause. You guys are great. Amazing voices and superb performance. We had a trio years back and were performing to one guy in the bar - in the break I went up to him and asked him if he was enjoying it - he was totally deaf. Can be kind of frustrating.

When you actually read why people dislike videos like this their answers are always something stupid like: "The red of the neon light in the background hurt my eyes."
Now 90, either Pizza hut is still hiring or they hired Louis CK to do Mike Masse covers.
The dislikes must be from the Original artists, because Mike and Jeffs versions are, most times way better than the original, by far.
most of the time "more talent=more famous" is not the case.....proves that there are still millions of gems out there in different lines of life. The famous ones were just given the opportunity. Talent not given opportunity is wasted...so sad. Thank God for youtube.

The coolest guitar solo I have heard live was a club called Wrap City in Provo Utah, it was this song the band played. Over 20 years ago. Wish I could find it on TH-cam, this one is good too.

In October I travelled to Salt Lake City with my wife from California to see Mike Masse, Jeff Hall and the rest of the crew at the Ice Haus. They were unbelievable. They played for about three and a half hours and were better than their video's. Mike Masse was a real professional who made time for everyone who had come to see the show. I look forward to another adventure to see him again.
It was such heartbreaking news to hear about the pain this man endured! Truly a blessed under appropriated musician whose life seemed to almost be cursed . Such a tragedy and remember upon hearing the news it was the first time a stranger I only knew through his covers on youtube touched me personally. Hopefully, he's in a better place now.
