For the members that left: Hangeng (Chinese member) is now an actor, Kibum left to become an actor as well and now he's doing TH-cam too (helped by Heechul), Kangin left last year and now he's pretty much lying low and living life haha, Sungmin is on hiatus and has been since 2015 because he got married and Korean fans suck (last year he released his first solo album "Orgel"), and lastly Henry (he was only in their Chinese subunit Suju-M, not the main group) does a lot of things (actor, violinist, pianist, TH-camr, MC, TV host, TikTok haha) and has his own company :)
You forgot for Henry Lau he did a Hollywood movie A Dog's Journey and his Chinese movie Double World is streaming on Netflix and on IQuyi of China because it couldn't be released on theaters in China in 2020, he has done several dramas in Korea and his most famous drama Oh My Venus with our So Ji Sup and he was fantastic.
In 2010s, the trend was autontune, which is why their songs during that time have autontune elements to them. But the bois have always been performing live (except on earlier music shows where they would lipsync cuz that was how things were done then)
Yay thank you for reacting to it!!! SuJu technically has 15 members if I include the sub-units - 13 original members in the main group and 2 additional members in the Chinese subunit (Henry Lau and Zhoumi). Zhoumi just released a new song with Ryeowook (one of the main members of SuJu) so he still does things with Super Junior. Henry Lau left SM to form his own company but he is a genius, he plays a bunch of different instruments & speaks multiple languages. If you check Henry out I would recommend his live cover of the song "Faded". As for the original 13 - there was Hangeng (Chinese member part of main group) who left SM and is a solo artist in China now, Kibum who did some acting but left SM & is still close with Heechul (one of the main members) there are rumors of him returning to the entertainment industry but no definite news yet, Kangin who left the group because he was drunk driving & in an accident, Sungmin kicked out of the group by fake fans (I said what I said *shrugs*) because he got married. Also Heechul is a original main member but he was in a car accident ~10 years ago & has metal rods in one of his legs so he can't dance normally anymore. He danced for years with the rods in and did a lot of damage to his body so he no longer performs on the stage but is still in the group, does take part in SuJu music videos & sings on the songs that don't require dancing. Most of ELFs support the original 15 & hope to one day see them on stage again, Leeteuk who is SuJu's leader has expressed this wish as well.
Sorry for the essay lol if you're ever interested in how they are on entertainment/variety shows, there's plenty of compilations to watch/react to but they're wild AF and hilarious. You should also take a look at their subunits, my favorite is Super Junior D&E with their songs "Oppa Oppa" and "Danger" but they're doing a comeback soon too. Thank you again!
I REALLY like this super junior project. since youve reacted to the whole group, maybe youll be interested in their units. The very first unit in KPOP industry is Super Junior-K.R.Y. "Dorothy" 'Home'", their solo Kyuhyun" I don't love you" "At Gwanhuamen"

Super Junior have always been great vocalists. :D "Bonamana" wasn't really demonstrating how far they have come as vocalists, it was more accurately showing what the trend was at the time. They didn't use auto tune to compensate for a lack of vocal ability, they used it purely because that was the trend for almost every new song in 2009/2010 all over the world. Pretty much every new Kpop song in 2010 had a heavy use of auto tune. If you watch a live performance of "Bonamana" from 2010 you will hear the song with far less auto tune and you will be able to hear that they were great singers even back then. Super Junior debuted in 2005, so in 2010 they were known as seasoned performers. At this point, they had been training as vocalists for more than 5 years, and many of the members were trainees for as much as 7 years before debut. So they are the same great singers here as you have heard in their more recent MVs and performances. ;) "Bonamana" is just a different style of song, it isn't that vocal centered song like some of their other songs you have heard.
SM is known for the fact that they choose trainees for their vocal and dance abilities and they have a heavy emphasis on training their artists to be some of the best vocalists in the industry, regardless of what their main role is in the group. So ALL of SM's artists are top vocalists, even the rappers. None of SM's rappers were chosen for their rap skills, they all started out as vocalists and/or dancers and the trainees with the right vocal tone and talent for rap, are then trained as rappers as well.
Fun fact: The dance move in "Bonamana" where they lean forward and swing their arm has been nicknamed the bowling dance because the move looks like the stance a bowler takes as they throw the ball down the lane. :D

I can't listen to Superman only once, I have to put it on replay at least 25 times, my mom hated it back then I wouldn't stop with the same song, my mom is not here anymore and Super Junior is only 9 members now. When it says time to go Shindong and he talks about himself, Leetuk says what are you talking about with the ones who aren't here counting the stars one by one we are 13... I love them so much... Bonamana I remember waiting all day for it to be release, till early in the morning.
I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm happy that you have songs that remind you of her, even annoyed. I absolutely love how Leeteuk has never modified that line, forever 13. Have a suju-tastic early autumn!

Chris, have you reacted to Taemin's new song, "2 Kids" yet? The MV was shot in 1 day in-between his SM promotional activities in Paris. There is no choreo. Instead, Taemin just did what he called a "drunken" freestyle dance, and he wrote the lyrics for the song.

Hi Chris, it saddened me that I could only find 2 videos of reaction to SF9. I really wish you’d check out more of their dance practices. For instance: watch out, unlimited, now or never and summer breeze just to name a few. Their discography and their choreography are very good and so under appreciated. I saw you only go for the obvious groups and it’s such a pity, because that will only help them to stay in their under appreciated position. Maybe if big accounts like yours would give more attention to lesser known groups, it might help to get more people to find out about them. They are still underrated and I don’t know why. They deserve better. Please help, watch their dance practice videos and their MV’s. Thank you in advance. Greetings from a Fantasy
