Donghae and Eunhyuk reveal on radio show that the original concpet of this mv is supposed to be a cool musical/ theatrical style betweentough guys and dandy guys. but during the filming, esp. the free-style part, members went crazy to be funny, so the MV turns out to be a funny concept. 😁

It's very normal what you hear. The director, staff, all employees in SJ label. Treat Super Junior like that. because they are super juniors they are the king They are quite influential. They are the legends of K-pop that are still standing alongside the 3 and 4.

Super Junior behind the scenes are always always much fun!! I'm not sure if you've seen the House Party one which was last year's release, but you can give it a go at your own time. The boys have been together for so long and so experienced that they know what to do. And since day 1 of their debut, their brand has always been about working hard but also having lotsa fun. They are really the ones to show the industry that it's possible to be successful and be comfortable in your own skin. Everyone in the industry can attest to both SJ's professionalism and also sense of humor.
The only downside is that the Korean public remembers them mostly as funny, carefree idols. When they are more than that. They are one of the best vocal groups out there and their vocal line KRY is the oldest sub-unit in Kpop and the best vocal line, period.

Behind the camera, in front of the camera, Super Junior does everything the same. The rest is up to the photographers to shoot them, how much and how limited they are. SJ has no scripts, no one can direct them.

What you see is what you get… they are just being themselves … the chaotic and funny Super Junior. If you want to verify this check the video “house party Pijama Party version” (something extra they filmed to thank fans for their support) … you will have a really funny time

Actually, the tongue part was probably part of the waves he was doing. 😅 Also, Shindong is an MV director himself so he knows what shots he needs.

Super Junior has been spoiling us ELFs the past 12 months. We've had solos from Donghae and Eunhyuk followed by their D&E album. Kyuhyun finished of his seasons project and Yesung sang his solo Monologue. Ryeowook blessed our ears with his mini-album Wild Rose. I was almost waiting for K.R.Y to drop something as a subunit to keep with the pattern lol. Add Callin' and Analogue Radio into the mix and I just don't understand where people who keep saying they "miss" Suju have been. These men have been releasing one thing or another on a near CONSTANT basis and I love them for it. Can't wait to see what the title track and album has in store... honestly hoping for a bit of a twist. I'm definately hoping that 2022 with be Sujus year... and that they have a stop near me on this World tour. But if not it has already been a GREAT year for ELFs.
Yes yes i love watching their behindthescene. They even released a video, discussing how to promote one of their comeback song and it was succesful, turn out they are the first group promoting song in online shopping channel. Plus they got video director and concert director in their team, proving their professionalism. Love listen to their discussion, crazy funny but fruitful amazing discussion. And your video is GREAT as usual!
You're so cute 😂that you like to doubt the support members and cheer each other on and applaud each other. Even the director and crew And of course, we've rarely seen anything like it with other bands. Besides, deep down they control SJ label because they are Super Junior.
Black suit behind the scenes had a very similar attitude to this one , also the two you thought were d&e was donghae and kyuhyun , another note , shindong is a director himself so he knows his stuff ! Also eunhyuk directed their own concert ( super show ) before

by the way, the concept of the MV was supposed to be cool but when the members entered the set they started making fun of each other & it turned into a funny MV instead ( the director switched it from cool to funny because of them) + being this free to do whatever they want is because they are the ones who decides most of their works ( composing, producing, directing most of their own songs & concerts) & they were like this since their debut 2005
you can watch their "Behind the scene songs recordings" in their own show "SJR1- SJR2-SJR3-SJR4" (means " Super Junior Return 1-4 from 2017 to 2020) & soon will be SJR5, you can watch it in "vlive" with eng sub

You know why Super Junior has freedom? They have paid their dues (by practically carrying the burden of SM's survival for a while) and they gained the right to have their own company.

Fun fact: Taemin actually look like Young Heechul when he was younger. You can look up their photos together as young you would see how they look so similar.
The dance Leeteuk (the guy who wore the dress and btw The LEADER of the group) is from their mega hit song called “Sorry sorry”
But I think at the end he added a leg move from one of the Girls' Generation's songs called Genie.

Genkila, I imagine that you'll enjoy these Super Junior videos even more if you knew the personalities behind them. The members themselves are hilarious. I hope that you get to know them better instead of calling them "this guy". You won't regret it, I promise. I'm not even an ELF (Suju's fandom), but I enjoy watching their behind-the-scenes and live performances, plus when they are in variety shows. I was sucked into the Suju world because I have been watching anything with Kim Heechul for the past couple of months. I didn't even like him when Suju was the . Now, I think I am a certifiable Petal (Heechul's personal fandom).
most of SuJu's behind the scenes for MVs, Recording and even meetings on how they decide about the title tracks/pre-releases are shown in SJReturns 1,3,4... most of the ones that they post here on yt are just cuts of what we usually get in SJR..
also this is actually the 3rd MV (2nd song to have mv) of them this year.. on July 12 we'll have Mango mv.. and before the end of the year probably a mv for their anniv and vol.2 title track..

Really took the experience of the director and crew. Maybe even less experience than Super Junior. Including some managers younger than Maknae. The maknae is now 34. The female director you hear is 36 years old, and SJ is 40.

@@lanorc It was in a variety show called "Knowing Bros". Heechul is a member of the cast and SHINee were the guests on this episode. Heechul said that he first heard of Taemin when people told him that there was a trainee that looked like the angelic version of him :)
@@lanorc "Knowing bros" is not a series. It's a Korean variety show and Heechul is one of the members there but this particular point was discussed in EP 42 of the talk show called " Life bar".

That "CHEERING" you mentioned is just the result of suju being great people for more than 10 years. Most of these staffs have worked with them for more than a decade and you will never hear a single bad rumor or any kind of attitude about super junior. It's one of the reason why suju is everywhere in the industry, because despite being a senior, they are humble, kind and fun to work with, very professional but knows how to interact with staff member equally, all directors love them. You will never see this kind of relationship from other groups, it's uniquely suju being suju.

That's their nature, i believed you have reacted to Black Suit bts and they do freestyle dance in that too. Like others said the original mv concept was cool but switched to playfull because of that
About freedom, suju has their own label and experienced under their belt. Every show who have suju as their guest had to lenghten their show about 2-3 episode because so many material that they give to production team. You should watch their leader nagging if he think his member doing things half-hearted. 'Dont waste other times' (aka staffs/producer)

The woman you see in the Mv is an actress. It doesn't become Leeteuk until the end when his face is revealed. That's why she has such a feminine walk because she is a trained actress that was chosen because she has a good walk and would make the reveal of Leeteuk at the end extra funny.

I'm confused, you saw the MV already? Then how come you sound like you didn't understand the storyline in the MV? "This person" who is playing the girl did not get a "very small role". The "girl" you saw was Leeteuk who is the leader of Super Junior and he actually got the biggest role, because not only was he playing himself in the MV, but he also played the girl. (or were you talking about the girl that plays the body double in the beginning before Leeteuk is revealed to be the girl?)
Super Junior are never serious unless it's a serious situation. You need to take most of what they say and do with a grain of salt because the majority of what they were talking about in this whole video were jokes they were making and they were making fun of each other. If you knew the group and knew their personalities you would understand that it all was a big joke and they were just playing around. For instance, Eunhyuk's manly deep voice you thought was cool was him just playing around pretending to be a bad boy biker dude, so he changed his voice to make it funny. That is not what he sounds like in real life. Eunhyuk is the main dancer and main rapper of Super Junior, but because SuJu is an SM group, he also has a very beautiful singing voice like all of the SuJu members. And Kyuhyun's comment about wearing slippers was a lame joke he was making. He doesn't wear slippers all the time, he is a very busy host, TV personality and musical stage actor, etc., so he dresses up most days and he wears regular shoes most of the time.
The crazy dance break that they put in with all the members freestyling their dances is classic SuJu. They often do this same type of thing in a lot of their MVs. Such as "Black Suit," "Devil," "Super Clap," "House Party," etc. That's what makes SuJu comedic geniuses, because all the members are really good at improvisation and you will soon discover that a lot of their best moments in everything they do are just off the cuff ideas they come up with spur of the moment.
They can cheer because there is no sound in MVs. Technically they could probably film most of the MV without any sound at all on set. The music and sound is added to the video in post production. The only reason you hear the music being played while they film is to help with choreography and timing and to get in the mindset and groove of the song and video.
The cheering is what makes them get even more wild and helps with their improvisation. SuJu wouldn't have the reputation of being one of the wildest groups in the industry if the members didn't go crazy trying to outdo each other and make each other laugh. That's why they have been in the industry for more than 17 years and are still going strong and are able to hold their own against all those youngsters. There is no other group like SuJu.
I doubt we will get the typical video of SuJu in the recording studio because SuJu doesn't normally do things like a lot of SM groups. SuJu are OGs and one of the older second gen groups so they don't release dance practices or other content as often. It's actually super surprising that they released their behind the scenes video of "Don't Wait" as a regular video on YT. Normally we have to search for their behind the scenes content as part of special content on VLive or as part of a news clip or interview, etc.
