infinite is one of my top 2 favorite boygroups !! thank you for enjoying them♡ my vibrato kings♡ my gyu (the leader/main vocal/old man in the shorts) actually has his own solo killing voice too (the thumbnail is there at the end. its from his solo promotions right before this comeback's promotions, for "small talk" which was one of my favorite songs all year) the other main vocal woohyun (in the funky blue shirt) was at this point recovering from surgery i believe. plus, he's been doing musicals, so if you listen to them and then come back to this you might notice that his voice and technique sound a bit different than before~ at like 18:26 "did he forget or was that just a pause" he actually started too early! and at the end of the song theyre like "dont laugh/dont make me laugh/dont be funny"~ dongwoo (the silly goofy all-rounder member) is actually the main dancer, previously along with hoya (its common for main dancers to be assigned main rapper as well, specially in 2nd gen) it seems the killing voice makes a lot of people assume sungyeol is the main dancer. he's not, he just sadly hasnt ever gotten a lot to do vocally, the line distribution is against him, and they didnt pick a lot of parts of songs that require him. the song at the end "함께" ("together") is from their documentary actually! thats what it's an ost for! And it's written by woohyun! im sure other inspirits will come with more knowledge but since im here: this is actually them resuming group activities post-military. my underrated queen "clock" in 2019 was their last group release until they came back with "new emotions", i believe this killing voice might be their first time performing together in a while, that's why theyre so excited~ i think their next comeback is set for march?? but they have a song out this christmas if you're interested!! (another christmas rec is my beloved "lately") if you decide to react to them more, their music videos are all iconic to me in my heart, but their choreos are also very important!! they were one of the first groups to really focus on sharp synchronized choreography (if i might recommend two older girl groups that are still kicking+have killing voices may i say kara and apink? theyre my favorites) happy holidays! ^^
They recently had a concert this month !!! Doing great as a group. I love the fact that you look up some facts instead of reacting to a group completely blind . That is why i watch your reactions. From left to right, the 3rd guy (Sungkyu, leader) and the 5th guy(Woohyun) are main vocals . They do musicals too Woohyun has some very serious health issues, yet he sang like that, it's amazing. That is why he had a bit less parts here . He is recovering well now. The 2nd guy is like all rounder, rapper, dancer, vocalist and funny as hell 1st guy -maknae, yeah such an amazing voice 4th and 6th guy are actors and 4th guy is super famous too for looking super handsome haha Yeah their choreo is super great, they are known for their synchronised dancing. 3:35 - the song is BE MINE, its like THE most famous song from them. It's covered by every survival show. It's so popular 16:39 - he is like the Eunkwang + Changsub of Infinite😂 19:00 he suffers all the time. 😂 The leader is the victim always I recommend their latest release NEW EMOTIONS and their famous tracks BACK, BAD , THE EYE, THE CHASER ( dance version ). It's the song as 21:35. The mv has nothing really lol 22:33 it has been my ringtone since 2015
HIGHLIGHT - Killing Voice next please :) They are formerly known as BEAST (2nd gen) who debuted as a 6 members in 2009 under CUBE entertainment. HIGHLIGHT currently consist of 4 members and is under Around Us Entertainment. Their vocals are incredible awesome.
YESSS UP !!! I was going to comment the same haha. With him checking Btob, he will definitely love Beast too ! Eunkwang and Doojoon = Chaos 😂 Infinite and Beast both are my favourites!!
They're currently on their 15th anniversary tour and will come back in March. Killing Voice is almost a disservice to them since they are best known for their live capabilities while dancing intense choreo. They redefined synchronized dancing in Kpop and their dance practices are still used as an example for trainees. You can't really go wrong with any second gen groups tbh but Infinite stands out, they have a great mix of electric guitar/orchestra/80s synth sound in a lot of their title tracks which created their signature sound. They established that signature actually basically from debut because their main production team stayed the same for the first four years of their career, minus one album. The second main production team they worked with evolved their sound to add more EDM while still utilizing elements of their old sound.
Infinite is known for their unique sound and style and how most of their songs include rock and/or brass and classical string instruments as part of their signature orchestral sound. It's said that you can tell it's an Infinite song just by the sound and style of the song within the first few seconds because Infinite songs are different than all other Kpop songs. There is always an element of the sound of their songs that makes them stand out. However, as you may have noticed, "New Emotions," which is the second to last song they sang on Killing Voice, has a sound unlike anything they have done in the past. Although the members said they were nervous to try something new, that is unlike what they are most known for, I think it also helps to establish their fresh start as newly independent artists who are free to decide their own path from here on out. Although with their B-side songs on their new album you will hear more of their signature style and sound, so they still stay true to what makes them uniquely Infinite. The songs in order of performance are: "Comeback Again"; "Be Mine"; "Paradise"; "Can You Smile"; "Tic Toc"; "Nothing's Over"; "Man In Love"; "Cover Girl"; "Julia"; "That Summer"; "BTD (Before The Dawn)"; "The Chaser"; "Bad"; "The Eye"; "Tell Me"; "New Emotions"; and "Together". Infinite originally was a Woollim Entertainment group that debuted in 2010 (second gen.) -- 2 years after SHINee -- so 2024 was their 14th anniversary. They were originally a 7-member group. However, as you can see, they now have 6 members. (Hoya, who was their main dancer and considered one of the top dancers in Kpop, as well as a lead vocalist and rapper, left Infinite in 2017, and now he's a solo artist/dancer, etc.) As you just saw, Infinite finally made a comeback after 5 years, after all the members have completed their military duties and they have now established their own company. "New Emotions" is their first comeback after becoming independent, which is why they were on Killing Voice because they are promoting their 13egin album. In this Killing Voice performance from left to right: > SungJong, who is the maknae, is the member who often stands out with his pretty voice. He is known for his delicate features and his unique voice. (He is recognized for his high melodic vocal ability and dynamic range, similar to Jun from Seventeen.) He just debuted as a solo artist earlier this year, as well. > DongWoo* is Infinite's main rapper, main dancer and lead vocalist. He is also a musical stage actor and a songwriter and solo artist. *Because Hoya, who was the other main rapper and a vocalist in the group, is no longer part of the group, Dongwoo often covers Hoya's lines in their older songs, which means he often goes from singing, directly into a long rap verse, because not only is he covering his parts of the song, but he is also singing Hoya's parts. They were sort of a rap, dance, vocal duo within the group, so their parts were often back-to-back or combined in the songs. (Hoya and DongWoo also used to make up the sub-unit, Infinite H, so they were the hip-hop unit.) > Sungkyu, who is a main vocalist, is the leader of the group. He was the first of the members to debut solo back in 2012 and he is also a musical stage actor. > L (Kim Myungsoo) is a lead vocalist. In the past he was most often the main character in Infinite's story-based MVs because he is one of the top Idol actors who has been in numerous K-dramas and movies. L is really good at showing emotion and immersing himself into every role he plays to make you believe his every emotion is exactly how he really feels and everything that happens to him is real. He is one of my favorite K-drama actors. > Nam Woohyun is a main vocalist and the one that usually has the powerful vocals in Infinite's songs. He is also a soloist and an actor in K-dramas, movies and musicals. Fun fact: Woohyun is good friends with SHINee's Key -- from SM Entertainment -- and together they formed the industry's very first project group that had members from different companies, called ToHeart in 2014. (ToHeart has a couple of MVs and a mini album.) > Sungyeol is a lead vocalist. He has also been an actor in dramas since before debuting with Infinite. Not only is Infinite considered a vocal powerhouse group, but they are also highly respected for their dancing and, like SHINee, they are recognized for being able to sing live while dancing intense choreography. They are known for being one of the first groups to focus on making their choreography hyper synchronized and they have been coined with the phrase "knife-like synchronization." Infinite -- along with SHINee -- is one of the groups that is credited with changing the focus of dancing within the Kpop industry. If it wasn't for SHINee and Infinite, upping the game and showing everyone that it was possible to have sharp synchronized dance moves while singing live and being able to pull it off flawlessly, the industry would probably be a lot different today. Infinite fans are called Inspirits.
Coming from a smaller company they managed to compete with the big 3 and win they have lots of great tracks and there known for their fantastic dancing.
