I was also at the game after his record setting day in KC... it was a meaningless home game against Oakland (I think the Browns were like 3-11) but the stadium was packed and everyone went nuts for Cribbs when they announced his name.
I was like 8 years old or somethin when my dad took me to the Chiefs vs Browns, where Joshua Cribbs took 2 to the house, and Harrison ran for like 280 yards or something crazy, Chiefs kept the game close though it came down to the wire, was definitely the best game I ever saw live. And as a dumb young person I thought every game was gonna be that entertaining, boy was I wrong Shoutout Cribbs for being one of my favorite players and the reason I love return specialists
Cribss was the best all-around special teams player of all time. He was a great kick returner, punt returner, and people forget he was one of the best gunners in the league.

He breaks more tackles than Hester who usually just finds a lane and explodes into 4.2 Speed in less than a second than he's gone untouched... Cribbs was the best special-teams player in NFL history IMO and objectively the most versatile player of his time. In addition to his return skills and making plays out the Wildcat formation and as a receiver, he also made a lot of stops on punt/kick return teams. As a life-long Browns fan, there haven't been a lot of bright spots, but Josh was one of them. We would cheer every time he took the field. Great person on and off the field.

We love Josh Cribbs as a return man who has the skills to be a great return specialist. We enjoyed him playing with the Cleveland Browns. He was without a doubt one of the most electrifying kick return specialists in National Football League history.

My favorite BROWNS player at that time for years then we got nick chubb and Miles Garrett. Which blew my mind then I met Josh cribs at seven eleven. I told him I had his jersey I was going to wear it that day and changed my mind.
I'm a Browns fan Josh was a real bright spot on those teams back then those were some tough years the 3-13, 4-12, 6-10 years he was the only one worth watching on those teams...He was a hell of a kick and punter returner he was athletic but he wasn't a burner it was skill and effort more then anything which made his returns more impressive.
