My newborn is 10 days old and still can’t latch I pump and use formula too but need her to latch! Can you please tell me how did you deal with it and give me some tips please !!! It’s so overwhelming
I just insisted, she had her tongue tie fixed. It was soooo painful for me but I knew I did not want to give up so time fixed it all for us. Also, for my baby the best position was the holding the ball one. The clasic position did not help at all but the ball one made the whole difference.
So I have a random question. My mother told told me that she was not able to breastfeed me, so she had a babysitter breastfed me for about a year. Could that possibly have any effect on why I never felt any sort of a bond with my mother, like my siblings did?
Firstly congratulations.. I really hope that you have managed to get some professional help with the feeding and not felt too dishearten. It is easier said than done but try and remain relaxed because babies are very clever creatures and can sense this. The video is very good in explaining different methods. Express the milk and give it video the bottle after you have introduced the breast first xxx
For us it was the tongue tie. Things got better after we had it laser fixed; however, the wonder does not happen over night, it is a work in progress because as we were told, baby had tongue tie since she was 8 weeks in the womb; therefore, she does not know how to use her tongue to suck.
We recenlty got out baby tounge, lip and bucal tie released as well. I'm curious too, how long did it take you to get your baby to latch? We're doing the oral stretches every diaper change and trying nipple shields. She bites down and pulls away. I'm still trying to work at it and not give up. Tips?
It took a few weeks, she needed to become stronger as well, but she became a pro. But all together maybe a month.

My mom never breastfeed me she always gave me a bottle
This lady in this video is 100% clueless what she is doing.
Why would this happen? Can you just give her a bottle?
Exactly.
She or he doesn't want it! Use a bottle
