It was not boring. I love to see that old cab over running up the hwy again in all her glory. I love that paint job. It’s classic. You did a good job on that engine. That trailer did good too. Not even one hot wheel bearing.
Cool video Hunter, your future build sounds like a lot of fun. I'd really love to participate in a build like the one your about to do. I've done a lot of crazy shit in my 58 yrs and because of this I've pretty much closed the door to my future so everything I dreamed of doing will never happen because I'm terminal now. Watching your videos helps me escape my reality and takes me back to a time when I did the same things you do. Kudos to you hunter and thank you for your content.😊
Fun fact you can triple tow all the way from california to north carolina in states where triple tow is legal. It adds a few hours to the trip but it's doable.
I'm going to be that guy. Lol. Those are not army trucks. They were built for the Marines. I got certified to work on them in 02 as well as drove 1 from Kuwait to Iraq through 100's miles of desert. Badass trucks. Ride smooth. The faster you go, the smoother they get. Awesome projects.
Do the Marine trucks still have lockers in both rear axles? If I remember right, a friend of mine said the Army trucks didn't have lockers (back in the day) but the Corps always spec'd their trucks out to have them??
@jasonlt1982 and killing one million Iraqis .... never forget the immense human suffering involved in that service that did not keep one American save but destroyed the lives and livelihoods of millions ... like dick Cheney once said going into Iraq will create a quagmire and set the entire region on flames ... or so 😂... Dick here is a very smart man... and like Henry kissinger just refuses to meet his maker...
Glad to see your dreams coming true man. Youve worked hard and earned your place with dave and branched out to do your own thing. Props on that! Youve earned every mile of your journey. Hope to see some cool content into the future! 👍
After seeing you working with the Diesel brothers, You really show us what the hard working average man can do. No brand new truck or helicopter from some corporate money. Just a hard-working dude mostly wearing sandals instead of work boots. Just keep on keeping on brother’ Love the channel
Simply amazing young man. You have two great friends . Your cab over is one of the best designed for its time. I love it, Carry on with your dreams, love your content and keep it coming.
Two cab overs I never had the pleasure of driving were the CL9000 and a Pete.Love the sound of a straight pipe. If your was longer it would sound even better.
Hunter, dude you need to get some stacks on that thing. I think it would look sick if you put the two straight pipes up the center of the truck like what Tim Gentrys show truck cab over was like. It'd defiantly make it look better no matter which way you ran them and that Cat would sound a whole lot better with some 7 or 8 in. Stacks.
Well done Danial and all the team at ASHVILLE. A tremendous success story personally and commercially. Your commitment is second to none and business logic first class. Many reasons why I follow you, obviously as an inspiration in life through good and bad days. I recently retired but have been in the transport and plant business all my life. Emigrated to the States 30 plus years ago from Ealing, your manner, and love it when you’re on the north circular and girotary system. Brings back great memories. I know many youngsters aspire to follow in your footsteps in many fields and my advice is if you are passionate in what you believe, follow your gut instinct and dreams. I wish you and all your employees and associates continued success. 👍🏴🇺🇸
Not boring, I actually envied your buddies driving that monster cross country with their hair flying in the wind and that drone footage at the end was unbelievable
Im not normally into this type of content, but i followed you from heavyD, and you honestly make really good quality content. Also the quality of the video is outstanding.
Yes as a lot of folks are saying great content brother. As a fellow ginger I say thank you my hair is longer though. Your showing people that the American dream is still alive. Keep up the great work.
Nice. A 2001 AMK25A1 and a 2002 AMK23A1 MTVR 7 Ton 6x6 Cargo Trucks. I'm looking for an AMK28(A1) to build an overland camper out of in 10 years once all the kids have grown up and moved out.
100,000lbs is 45.3 metric tonnes, the standard weight of haulage here in the UK is 44 metric tonnes, and the maximum abnormal load can be 150 metric tonnes or a tad more than 330,000lbs. All of them are over-cab.
CRACKING UP at the teva open toes 30second closeup and the speed boat sun glasses on the highway! (Which were actually 100% necessary) 😂😂😂 OMG we all need to be friends!
I’ve heard a Jake break like your into twice in my life. Once now and once before when a truck destroyed a Camry on rt 24 going into Boston. Thank you for the anxiety attack at midnight.
I'm hoping there's either a new transmission or a rebuild of the existing transmission considering how you said it sounds like rocks and sometimes comes out of gear. Just makes sense since the engine is new. Awesome video btw!
Love this! Did you get new cab shocks? It looks pretty stable now! I am looking forward to the next build with the Oshkosh trucks, that's a mean cliffhanger ending dude! 😂
i used to drive a Ford CL 9000 back in 1980 in Alberta i loved it had a Detroit v 12 had it for two years went from Canada to Mexco twice and two seasons on the winter roads before coming back to the UK.
Dude look at how your last handful of videos have blown up... Cabover was the best decision you could have ever made for content glad to see things working out for you
Killer convoy bud! Keep it up. It took me a while before I started watching your channel after you left sparks channel, but I love the content bro. Houston Texas in the house!
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Nice to have the right equipment when you need it! I come from a trucking family & I’ve had several trips where nothing too eventful ever happened. The goal is to get there & back but to have a safe & joyful trip! If the load gets there on time, that’s only half of the job. You did have to deal with a bent mud flap & a non-running truck that you had to load. It all went well. You were lucky that your toes didn’t feel any of the sparks since you were wearing sandals. So you didn’t have any issues with your truck being there in California? What a shocker! Glad you made it back safely! Sounds like you have some extreme plans for these trucks! Cool! Blessings my friend! 🥰🤩✌️
If you could put the transfer box into neutral you should be OK with the gear box. When I did vehicle recovery I'd never flat tow an auto unless I could get the drive wheels off the deck or disconnect the driveline
This reminded me of how I once got to drive a tug with a huge, screaming 4 cylinder Detroit, pushing a Boeing 707 out of a hangar and across a tarmac. No more than a couple miles per hour, with a lot of spotters, but still. What a trip. Looks like fun.

Dude!!! I so want that Army truck with the short pipe that was freakin awesome 😅 and it sounds so good
It's a trail king 😮
You can really see that you're really happy Hunter. Your dreams are finally coming true. Congratulations!
Don't forget to pull driveline on the one your towing behind

@billclisham8668 Yes, they lock. This is also the first usmc truck with central tire inflation system

😆🤣, dude, you left us hanging with that last army truck test clip! It did not look like it ended well. 😖
After seeing you working with the Diesel brothers, You really show us what the hard working average man can do. No brand new truck or helicopter from some corporate money. Just a hard-working dude mostly wearing sandals instead of work boots. Just keep on keeping on brother’ Love the channel
I can't believe that you were able to pull this off with all the laws on the west coast very lucky great video thanks Hunter and friends
Back roads bypassing all the weigh stations.
He still had to pass plenty of state troopers
@heyinway they hide behind all the scales and pictures are takin miles before you hit the scales
Cabover deserves a stack exhaust & gearbox to match that sweet new engine! Nice truck 👍🇺🇸
Simply amazing young man. You have two great friends . Your cab over is one of the best designed for its time. I love it, Carry on with your dreams, love your content and keep it coming.

Love that old cab over. Awesome to see older iron doing what it was meant to do.
12:05 Hunter can flat out drive that truck lol
That landing couldn’t have felt good at all. Hunter is probably 3” shorter now. Can’t wait to see what coming up

I would not want to be sitting in the seat of that Army truck when it finally lands back on Earth lol
Should have the truck running at high idle to tow, then you've got good oil pressure where it needs to be 😊
I run into California twice a week, never have any issues, get you some decals that say Goodrich Towing DOT will just wave when you pass
Nice find with those 7 ton trucks. very off road capable. excited to see what they become.
Not boring, I actually envied your buddies driving that monster cross country with their hair flying in the wind and that drone footage at the end was unbelievable
Good job! A modern day, Smokey and the bandit. Love the outlaw spirit. The music was really good to.👍

I still cant believe how clean the interior of that old ford cabbie is! The bunk looks like its never been slept in.
Great video. Well filmed/edited. Wonderful scenery. Couldn't do anything like that over here in the UK.
100,000lbs is 45.3 metric tonnes, the standard weight of haulage here in the UK is 44 metric tonnes, and the maximum abnormal load can be 150 metric tonnes or a tad more than 330,000lbs. All of them are over-cab.
Man that looks so awesome in that Cabover! Loaded up and trucking!
CRACKING UP at the teva open toes 30second closeup and the speed boat sun glasses on the highway! (Which were actually 100% necessary) 😂😂😂 OMG we all need to be friends!
Im so glad you went out on your own the trucks sound so good😊
Awesome can’t wait to see what you do with the two Army trucks.
To drill holes in any metal including stainless steel, dip the drill bit into pure radiator antifreeze not mixed, and it will zip right through.
It's always a nice surprise to see you posted a video, as usual very entertaining.
Wicked episode dude. Love how mostly everything goes to plan.. And you don't run out of gas aye matts off road 😅😅

Beautiful cabover! Loving to see that you are hauling with it!
That was smooth , well done Hunter & Friends !!!
As a marine corps veteran I freakin miss those 7-tons but the armadillo ones (armored ones with troop platforms) were my love and hate in the marines
God only knows what Hunter has in mind for these trucks, but I'm sure whatever it is will be awesome!!
Great problem solving skills Hunter!
Dude look at how your last handful of videos have blown up... Cabover was the best decision you could have ever made for content glad to see things working out for you

That black smoke is killing me. Love the channel. Keep it up
