    Been trying to research the Yaqin.
    Been a home audio guy for 25 years. This last year I have gotten more serious about and interested in introducing tube sound into my 2 channel set up.

      Tidal and tube amps made a significant improvement in my audio journey. They will bring you a sweet, airy, and holographic sound.

    Why are those lights white on the A23? Mine are blue and red. Diana Krall and an A23, a great combo.

      2:05. Mine are red and blue as well. Parasound A23 sounds as good as McIntosh MC152 in my setup.

      Wait a few months for the BB2. Mytek is adding Roon so from my understanding this will serve as a streamer and Roon endpoint.

    Just bought the Heresy iv's . Waiting for them to arrive. What is the low end like on these? I heard it was improved over the iii's.

      This is without question one of the best speakers I've had the pleasure to own. The base of the Heresy IVs has significantly improved over the Heresy IIIs. They are open, the depth and soundstage are breathtaking. These are absolutely full-sounding with incredible, powerful bass. I'm going to post videos comparing the Heresy IVs and the Harbeths in the near future.

    Yes... amazing sound, considering the setup... Does the Yaqin CD3 Tube Buffer make the difference in the sound (airy, spacious...)? Have you tried the same setup without the Yaqin to determine what difference it makes?

      I think they are completely sold out and no longer in production. I highly recommend that you try a tube integrated amp Willsenton R8 with Heresy IV.

      @@ysk249 Yes - from the other videos with the Klipsch speakers driven by the Line Magnetic tube amps... they sound great with similar tube amps. Though, I'm surprised that the tube buffer alone makes that much difference.

    Please help me understand the steps in your system... Dac is connected to the Yaqin via RCA's and then connected to the amplifier (RCA's again) right?

    • @ysk249
      @ysk249  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Tidal -> MacBook Air -> Mytek Brooklyn DAC -> Yaqin SD-CD3 -> Parasound A23 -> Klipsch Heresy IV. Volume is controlled via a MacBook computer or the knobs on the back of the A23 amp.

    What kind of tubes did you put on the yaqin sd-cd3?
    They are certainly not the classic and famous 6sn7, could they damage the inside of the device being more powerful?
    Did you make an improvement inside the buffer?

    • @ysk249
      @ysk249  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @ysk249

      The Heresy IV is a noticeable improvement over the III with a base port in the back for better low frequencies. Also, the American walnut finish is really nice.
