Excellent video on this rather hidden struggle. Please produce more of these, as tedious as it may be, they are excellent videos

Excellent video. I've had 2 Aru×Aru clutches, which were absolute nightmares to feed. i have 3 clutches now in the incubator and watching this preparing myself for the ahead battle. Thanks again for posting this. Hope to see more

Awesome video and valuable info! Where did you get the sticks/end pieces for your neo perches? I like the fact you dont have to drill the box.

I currently produced 7 neos...3 eat, 4 need to be force fed. my last clutch was about 12 and all ate....can be so frustrating.
my procedure to get them to eat is identical to yours. I definitely think having the pinkie come in contact with the tail really brings out the strike and eventual caudal luring/ feed reflex.
I find force feeding partial rat tails much easier and less stress than pinkies but not as nutritious. GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!! so hard to teach feeding neos that dont recognize pinkies as food,

    24" x 18" x 24" good for adult green tree python

I have an adult male aru would love to find a female and try to breed green trees but females are just out of my budget unfortunately

I totally understand how it can be at this stage! The best way would be to buy a neonate and grow it up and hope to have a female!
Or you could save your money. Until you’re financially ready to purchase a female! Just enjoy the journey and dont rush!

@@CrypticChondros there are some aru neo's in Devon but there no guarantee of a female and don't want to be stuck with 2 males 😂 market for males isn't the best. I'll stick to breeding my tarantulas and keeping my male in a nice big viv for display. 😁
