Hi Robin - Watched this while getting ready for SS/Church and I’m getting ready to run out the door but wanted to thank you for this video. Of course, we get behind on our housework and this gave me encouragement about that but when I saw the words “back on track” I immediately thought of my eating. I have splurged a couple of days and I was asking God this morning for His power to get me “back on track”. So some of the principles of this video encouraged me in that direction too. You are a blessing. Love to you in Christ!
Thank you, Robin, for the reminder not to worry too much about falling behind. My close friend gave me similar advise after my twins were born. So true.🙌
My favourite Sunday afternoon time!!!!So nice family moments at the begining of the video Robin!!!Unfortunately I don't have a cleaning schedule..I do whatever is needed at any particular moment.Laundry,ironing,moping...anything!!!Thank God my mum helps me with cooking lately....!!!
Thank you for sharing ❤ I love butternut squash soup, your recipe is slightly different to mine, the recipe I use is very basic. Yours looked delicious I might have to give it a go 😊 Playing catch up is not easy when it comes to the house, I'm still trying to get mine back together 3 years after major health issues involving my husband, then my mum and then me from the stress of it all. I'm taking a day at a time and tackling one small area to do extra work on. I'm slowly seeing progress, but it's not easy and I find it hard to keep motivated some days. TH-cam has been a lifeline for me and watching wonderful women like yourself has helped to keep me motivated and inspired 💖 Praying you have a blessed week 🙏
Thank you Tina! I am so encouraged by your story and pray for you and your family. Certainly housework needs to take a backseat to put your family first. Have a blessed Sunday! 💜😊💜
I always have good intentions to have a cleaning schedule, but there is always something getting in the way. I probably wouldn’t always feel like I’m behind! Even at my age I’m still trying to come up with a routine. When I worked full time somehow I got everything done. I have always used Norwex cloths I would like more but the cost 😝 do you feel the Norwex equals the ecloth? Soup looks yummy this time of year I make soup at least once a week. I do put the seeds out for the squirrels 🐿
Hi Esther! I also feel that when my schedule is full that I am a much better time manager! 😄 I do like the E-cloth products as much as Norwex and especially love the more affordable price. I hope you enjoy the soup. I like the idea of feeding the squirrels, but I don’t think I want to do anything that would attract them to our yard. 😂 Hope you are enjoying a lovely Sunday! 💛
Faith and Flour we live by a creek and woods so we live by squirrels and can’t get around it. I do love the animals we see daily...deer, raccoon, Fox, hawk, possum, skunks and squirrels. The squirrels look like they have fun everyday! Thanks for the cleaning cloth tips I will be trying the ecloths.
We used to live on 4 acres that were mostly wooded and I miss seeing all of the wildlife. Here the squirrels just make homes in our attics and do all sorts of destructive things. 🤦♀️ Where you live sounds lovely and I’m glad you can enjoy the animals. 🧡
Hi Robin, I always enjoy this time with you. Do you use just water to wash your microfiber,or add detergent? I love when you include a recipe inspiration on Sunday mornings, I'll make this tonight. Have a great week.
Thank you for another motivating video! I get behind sometimes too. The best thing, like you said, give yourself grace. Because life certainly does happen and throws a curveball from time to time. Have a blessed and wonderful week. 😊💖 P.S. Googled about your seeds. Yes you can roast them just like pumpkin! Good to know! 👍
Thank you Monique! I have two secrets: 1- keeping a room visually uncluttered makes it appear clean ( even when it’s not) 2 - the camera hides a LOT of dirt. 😂 If I showed you the contents of the vacuum container you would be very surprised. 😮 Thanks for watching and have a great weekend! 💜
F1 looks cool. I have tried peeling squash before roasting for soup. But i did find that it made it absorb a lot more of the olive oil and the soup wasn't very nice!. So I do it the way you did because I do like the favour with it being roasted. I also have a few vacuums 😂I have a dyson v8 its good for quick jobs I love using it for vacuuming the car quickly without getting the garage vacuum out. I was able to get it much cheaper as a relative of mine works in a vacuum store. I really agree with the Miele being very thorough with living next to the sea a lot of sand gets walked in. I can hear it being picked up with my Miele and it's so satisfying!😂
Hey Robin, Love your videos and they have helped me with managing my cleaning a lot better, even my fiance had noticed the house felt a lot cleaner. I don't have a lot of time, with college, kids and volunteer work in the evenings but I do have Wednesday morning and Thursday Full day of no children and the house to myself so I try to clean it all, and dust when I can during the week. My question for you would be how often do you dust a surface or room. I seem to only have once a week but as I've just started (2 weeks in now) I feel i find little dust bunnies still. Will they eventually go? I'm also allergic to dust so it helps when the house is dust free. I wish we could eliminate it all together! lol Hope you are having a great week and looking forward to hearing from you. Vanessa x
Hi Vanessa! I’m so glad you have been finding these videos helpful. Having a system that works for you makes a big difference. I usually dust everywhere just once per week. It will probably get easier over time, but I am often amazed at how much can accumulate in a week’s time. 😂 I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! 🧡😊🧡
I needed this inspiration and as always you remind me to give myself grace and sometimes just let things be good enough. ♥ It will always be there tomorrow 😊 I took a social media break and I've been missing watching your videos. The formula one looked like fun! We have always been a Nascar family and we were spoiled when we lived in CA near one of the tracks and could go to several races... Now we only make it once a year or so. Have a wonderful day. 😊 Butternut squash soup is one of my favorites, I tend to roast a couple when ever I have the oven on for other things the pop them in the fridge for later, the skin peels off really easily when it's chilled and then I either use in soup or mash up and reheat for a side dish or my lunch.
Thank you Holly! A social media break is a very good idea! I’m glad you are back though. 😊 I am from NC where NASCAR is big, although I never really followed it. My husband’s family is European, so F1 is more their thing. We all enjoyed it very much, but went for Payton who is the real fan. 😄💙
Hi there, I just discovered your channel and am really enjoying it! I think you are really sweet and a great homemaker. Also, I love your house! :) ~Hugs
Hi Eunice! I don’t clean on Sundays. I reserve that day for Church and family. I am fortunate enough to be able to make time during the week and sometimes Saturdays to get it all done. But I do understand that it might be necessary for some families. 💚😊💚
@@FaithandFlour Thank you for your reply💚I am struggling to keep on top of things as I do cleaning daily for others, well I get paid for it😊, but like yourself I do reserve Sundays for Church and family, but lately find myself doing the odd load of washing on a Sunday🙈I live in Ireland for 15years, but originally from South Africa. Love your videos.God bless!!
Good morning Robin. The Formula One racing season is a great time. My husband and I have attended the Long Beach Grand Prix and really enjoyed ourselves. Since somewhat recently moving 2500 miles away from a lifetime in So. California, I’ve yet to get completely back on track and on schedule. I’m sure that watching your videos (and using my new planner) will be very helpful. Here is a recipe link for yummy and healthy butternut squash seeds to snack on: *https:www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchen/butternut-squash-pepitas-3813588**.* Wishing you a blessed Sunday. 🍂🌻🍁🥐😊
Robin, did you know you can eat the butternut squash skin? If you cut it into smaller pieces and you roast it for 35-40 mins it will be cooked and soft. I have added it to soups after and it gives a delicious roasted flavour but I’ve also added it to curries. I highly recommend you try it. Especially if you add spices like cumin and chilli to it 😊
@@FaithandFlour I am sure it was. I am a huge fan of F1 so I am kind of jalous😉 but the pictures are great and nice to see you and your family having great time together. All the best and may the lord give you more of those happy moments.

I’m watching while sick in bed. This should give me hope as my 8 children have free reign of the house.
That looked like a super fun day. Also I love that orange wreath, so pretty!
Thank you Shannon! 💛🤗💛
Hi Robin I knew this video was for me lol! You are such a grounded calming person I bet your family appreciates that.
Yes Janet! 😉 😄 Thank you!!!💛
No thank you!!
Thank you, Robin, for the reminder not to worry too much about falling behind. My close friend gave me similar advise after my twins were born. So true.🙌
