🌹I’m so pleased we did this collaboration together! This was such an enjoyable video Robin, all your different angles make it very interesting to watch. Those purple tulips were stunning! It’s amazing how brining a little bit of God’s creation in to decorate can soften a space! I look forward to Thursday’s video🌹
Thank you Nikki! I has been fun to work with you as well and can’t wait for Thursday! You have been an inspiration for me in many ways and I feel so blessed work with you and call you my friend! 💛
Be sure you have a phone on you if you’re home alone in case you fall, I usually use a vacuum for high dusting, but I like the simplicity of the long arm duster, will get one for myself, so relaxing to watch you clean, it does make me get to my own spring cleaning. I’ve started, but sitting with my coffee this morning...time to start moving. Need to do chores so i can reward my self with a day of sewing! Thanks for the video
Good advice Kate! My mom broke her arm while climbing and cleaning, so that is always on my mind. Patrick works from home most of the time, so I’m careful to do this type of cleaning when he is here. 😊💚💐
Hi Robin, i encountered your beautiful videos a few weeks ago and subscribed to your channel right away. You give me the motivation to clean with love all the time. I am a Christian too living in Sweden. Have 2 teenage kids, my elder daughter has special needs. You are filled with so much patience and kindness which I could see it through your videos. I love your ways and your gentleness. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Robin, it's so fun to see you collaborating with Nikki. I loved your video. We are having a chilly, rainy spring here too. I struggle with the plantation shutters getting dusty too and I just bought that white dust brush from Grove so I'm hoping they are easier to clean. The breakfast nook looks so fresh and pretty with the tulips. Thanks for a lovely video! Jennifer xx
Thank you Jennifer! I have you to thank for the opportunity to get to know Nikki and work with her. I can’t wait to be with you both in April! We are back to gloomy weather here after a few days of sun. The fresh flowers really help! Have a blessed Sunday! 💛🤗💐
I loved this! I love all the fresh flowers 😍🌹 My uncle had an orchid house. I used to love to go in there as a kid and see all the different ones & it smelled fabulous in there!
Aww! I love Austin. He makes me happy. Thanks for including him in your video. Here in Georgia, we went from rain to sun to rain to wind. The flowers are already blooming. ❤❤❤
Your home is so beautiful. It’s crazy but when you cleaned the coffee table I saw the shine after each swipe. It didn’t seem dusty at first. Thanks for the inspiration
Enjoyed your video. I am envious: you have green grass and leaves on the trees!! I live in N US-no such luck here although the daffodils are up an inch. Love the flowers and green plants added to freshen up things and make it feel like Spring.
Thank you! Don’t be too envious- our Spring is very short here. Soon we will have temperatures in the 90’s and 100’s that will last until next November! 😅 And we NEVER get snow. ☹️💚
To help tulips stay upright longer, with a pin stick a hole through one side not all the way through, into the stem where it meets the blossom. It’s something about the water and air combo I think I was told, I’ve found it actually that helps 💗 love your channel Robin!
Glad to hear you are using paper towels. My house started using them back in the days when my son was sick a lot, and the Dr. told us to start. Now with grandchildren and the flu we use them year around, cheaper then a Drs.office call here. Plus, I wipe down phone , door knobs and light switches, TV controls every night before bed that we use or do not use with Clorox or your disinfection. I too like flowers around me. I buy tulips in March and April, had them for my Wedding flowers in April so I some times confuse my husband about our Anniversary time when I buy them in March. LOL Have a good weekend with your family and Austin , will watch you on Wed. It is raining here now till Monday afternoon they said. Will use that time to clean and declutter
Here from Nikki via Jennifer’s page. Intrigued with your brick detail (arch?) in your kitchen; have you shared details in other videos about this. Going to check out that cleaning mitt; great design. Thanks for including our Rachel in your Chic conference; you’re going to love her Rachelyn custom jewelry. 💖
Hi Julie! I’m so glad you came over! Welcome! The arch in our kitchen is made of limestone. We have a few features made from the same stone in our kitchen and living room. You will like the E-Cloth dusting mitt - I love all of their cloths and cleaning tools. I am excited about the conference too! I have seen Rachel’s Etsy Shop and think that all of her pieces are gorgeous! 💚💐💚
Hi Robin - I have watched Nikki for ages and Jennifer too. Have read the Madam Chic books too. I don’t often comment to them and I have to admit that you are my favorite but I love that all three of you ladies love the Lord. I was reminded when I saw all your climbing to dust that My family begs me not to do any climbing on stools or ladders and I try to obey for I know if I fall they will be the ones to have to care for me. Sometimes I cheat but mostly try to comply. My daughter in Dallas sent me an orchid from Amazon. I guess you truly can get anything from Amazon. They come to my house every day. HA!. Love in Christ, my friend.
Thank you Donna! I’m not surprised that you love Nikki and Jennifer. They are such amazing Christian women and so authentic. I know what you mean about climbing while cleaning! My mom broke her arm that way, so it is always on my mind! Have a blessed Sunday! 💚💐💚
I had to pause the video around 11.35 to comment. I just love how Austin is inspecting your work on his cabinet 😊👍 we have two cats, and the youngest of the two, can hear their cabinet door open from the very top of our 3 storey home I’m sure! Whenever that door opens, a skittering of paws is never far behind!
Haha! I know what you mean! Our fur babies are very aware of where their treats come from! I guess that if there were a chocolate cabinet in our home, I would come running when someone opened it to distribute my daily treat! 😂🌸💚
Hi Robin! We have the same kitchen cabinets and I'm embarrassed to say I haven't dusted the top in a few years. You have motivated me to get myself to it this week! It's nice to see you and Nikki doing a collaboration ❤🌺
Thank you DeAnna! It does feel good to have that job behind me! 😂 I’m glad I could help motivate you! Nikki and I are having fun - I hope to see you for Thursday’s Video! Have a wonderful week! 💚💐💚
Good morning Robin. Your home always look so clean and beautiful especially the way you decorate with flowers. I believe using flowers to decorate just lights up a room and gives it an elegant look. I wanted to give you a tip about your tulips....if you put a straight pin ( like the ones you use to pin up a hem before sewing) at the end of each stem they will not droop. This is what I found online: Simply insert a pin or needle all the way through the stem of the drooping flowers, about one-inch below the bloom, then carefully remove it. Within an hour or two, your flowers will be standing tall. I’ve used this trick successfully over the years with Gerbera daisies, roses and tulips.
Thank you for the terrific and motivating video! Always nice to see an appearance by Austin, chasing the duster! 😊 I am also an orchid fan, they are lovely. Looking forward to the next video. Heading over to check out your friends video. Have a fabulous week!
Faith and Flour you’re welcome ❤️...I love Austin very much send him my love please I’m a big fan of his and you... I watch this dog show in England called crufts and in the Terrier group is my favourite because and my favourite breed is the Jack Russell terrier and this beautiful breed of dog came third place in the group and I cried for joy ...
Good morning to you sweet friend & Texas neighbor...hugs from me in Houston!!!! Just went over to Nikkis channel & subscribed :) Ahhhh, Spring cleaning :) LOVING our weather here too! Oh my gosh, lights , ceiling fans, & blinds are my "least" favorite to do, lol! Great job, as you KNOW how I love your home...please tell Austin, big boy, hello for me....I believe in the plants also, love them so much...the flowers are sooo beautiful, my favorites are roses....we just bought a bluebonnet plant from HEB Friday, have you ever grown those? love you always, .have a very blessed Sunday XOXOXO
Good morning Lauren! I love the bluebonnets! They’re starting to sprout up all around us and they make me so happy! I’m glad you subscribed to Nikki’s channel. You will love her! Enjoy your Sunday! 🐾 💚💐
@@FaithandFlour Ahhh, yes...& all of the chirping birds outside of the window too :) Love them....I have 2 little friends (smallish birds, ones more reddish, ones more blu-ish) that come & see me as a couple every day :)
Came from Nikkis channel and just subscribed. You have a beautiful home! And I just wanted to say that a lot of TH-camrs drive me nuts when they use a cordless vacuum because I can see they miss a lot of sections of floor when they vacuum but you didn’t miss any spots! Is that weird 😂 when I vacuum or sweep I sways take a little longer but it’s because I don’t want to miss any spots:)
Thank you for coming over and welcome! I am so glad to have you here! It's funny that you mentioned being thorough. I noticed that I missed a spot dusting when I was editing the video and it really bugged me! I'm glad I was more careful on the floor! 💛😄💛
Thank you Heather and welcome! I’m so glad to have you here and look forward to getting to know you a bit! I hope you are enjoying a lovely Sunday! 💚💐💚
Thank you Dee Anne! I love my stick vacuum and my Miele, so I tend to grab those first. We use the central vacuum upstairs almost exclusively because it it so easy to carry just the hose up the stairs. 🤷♀️😄 That TraderJoe’s dark chocolate is so good! 🍫 😋👍💛
I have almost finished my Mrs Meyers multi-surface concentrate so I thought I’d give your disinfecting spray recipe a go next 😝. Just curious if you’ve tried soap nuts for your laundry cleaning before? I saw them online and thought I’d give them a go as I’m trying to be a bit “cleaner”. I can’t imagine they’d do a better job than laundry powder/liquid but I guess I’ll find out. I’ve also purchased some compostable bin liners my Aunt recommended me too. At my local supermarket we have a brand in the fresh produce aisle called The Odd Bunch where you buy imperfect fruits & veges at a discounted price.
Hi Rachel! I hope you like my DIY recipe. I have heard of soap nuts but never tried them. You will have to let me know what you think. Our grocery store used to have an “almost expired” cart, but I don’t see that much anymore. I love the idea of doing what we can to reduce waste. 👍 Have a blessed Sunday! 💚🌷💚
Great video. I enjoy watching Inspired by Nikki as well. Was super excited to see you were going to be at the conference in Dallas. I will not be able to attend. But looking forward to hearing how it goes. I have a couple of questions this week. In your disinfecting all purpose cleaner, are there areas or surfaces that you would not want to use the rubbling alcohol on? I have made the one using vodka and spray it on everything except on my wood surfaces. During this time of the year, is it better to use the rubbing alcohol instead of the vodka. How about the smell? Too string? Thanks for all the helpful tips you give on your channel. ☺️
Hi Marjorie! I wish you could be a the conference too! I'm sure we will be sharing some highlights. 😊 I really prefer to use vodka in my DIY cleaner. It kills most bacteria and the smell is almost non-existent so that all you smell is the essential oil. Isopropyl alcohol (91% or higher) kills viruses. It does have a stronger smell. I would not use either on wood, they could (especially isopropyl alcohol) remove the finish. It is fine for natural stone and most other surfaces. I hope that helps! 💚🌸💚
Faith and Flour Yes, thank you. One more quick question please 😆. What type and where did you get your bottle for your cream cleanser you use in the kitchen sink?
Hi, Robin. Thank you as always for your great videos 😘👍 I love your breakfast table and chairs. Can you please tell me were you bought it? And that cream table cloth looks beautiful on your table. You reminded me that I have a cream table cloth. Which I will be putting on my table. I have a rectangular table. But I really want to buy a round table. Well I will see you on your next video. I will be watching nikki's channel I am a subscriber to her channel since last year. I also love How Jen does it.really good channel. I recommend to you.😘
Thank you! Our table was left by the previous owners of our home, so, unfortunately I don’t know where it was purchased. I’m glad you are one of Nikki’s subscribers. She has such wonderful content and videography. I love How Jen Does It too! Hope you are having a great evening! 💚🌷💚
Halfway through video. Have a little tip for you on fruit flies. Get a small bowl, put in about 2 inches of water. Then add a few splashes of apple cider. Then a squirt of dish soap. Stir it around and cover it with plastic wrap. Poke holes in the plastic wrap with a toothpick. Set on the counter. I couldn't believe how many fruit flies got trapped in there. Change water out as needed. 👍😊 It works great!
Thanks Carla! I got these traps as a free item once and I think they are basically the same as what you are describing. When I use these up I will try your diy version. Have a great day! 💚🌸💚
Loved watching video, love the giraffe painting , cant believe how much you got done, by the way if you feed straws up the stem of your tulips the stand up better, water still goes up the stems . X
Thank you Tracy! That is a great tip. I have received some great advice on tulips that I can’t wait to try. I love learning from you all! Have a wonderful week! 💚🌸💚
Or have a cloth hand towel for each family member. I don’t think germs last as long on rough , porous surfaces (like a towel) as on slick surfaces (like glass).
Hi Linda! You could be correct, but this advice is out of an abundance of caution. My sister works for an agency that oversees daycares and helps advise them on things like this. This is their recommendation, so I thought I’d put it out there to give everyone one more way to guard against spreading viruses. 💚🌷💚
Hi Becky! Just use my link. There is no promo code. You should receive $10 off your order when you check out. Let me know if that does not work for you. 💛
Hi Mary! I have heard that. I used to have it in a container on the floor and moved it to the table. Austin never bothers it thankfully! Have a wonderful Sunday! 💚🌸💚
Robin, approximately how many hours a day do you clean? Do you think you are OCD about cleaning? Some people get such joy from cleaning and others loathe it.
Hi Jeri! It is hard to say, because my schedule varies quite a bit. I have a Daily Cleaning Routine Video and a Weekly Cleaning Routine Video that you may want to watch to get an idea of what I do. I’d say that I care about keeping a tidy home, but I try not to take it to the level of OCD. I enjoy what I do and osee it as a way of serving my family and caring for what God has blessed us with. And it makes great content for my channel! 🤷♀️😊💚💐
Faith and Flour thanks for your answer. I wish I was more inclined to clean, but I do get inspiration from you Robin! Thanks for your videos, I have rheumatoid arthritis and am always sore, so cleaning is hard for me.
I’m sorry to hear that Jeri. I know that condition can be very difficult. Just remember that “good enough” can be good enough when it comes to cleaning. There are definitely more important things. I am happy to give you some extra motivation when you need it, but it’s more important that you take care of yourself! 🤗💛
Faith and Flour Thank you Robin for your kind words. Your home is lovely and I loved the words you said about taking care of what the Lord has given us. We are certainly a blessed nation for living in America.
Hi Robin, just thought I’d mention that with the corona virus spread and the lack of sanitizers in stores, etc., the CDC has said that a disinfecting solution made of vodka is no good because for it to be sanitizing and disinfecting, it would have to contain 60% or more of alcohol and vodka is only 40%...just thought I’d share since whilst it cleans it doesn’t kill germs.
Thank you! I have been researching it and there seems to be conflicting information on that. The CDC is the authority, so if that’s what they say I would definitely go by that. You can use rubbing alcohol in place of the vodka and it will do the trick. 💚🌼💚
I began watching, got motivated and quickly popped some seat and cushion covers in the machine! Sunday night laundry lol in South Africa! Blessed by your quiet and joyful spirit.☺
Thank you Desia! I’m glad you were cleaning with me! I had the opportunity to visit your beautiful country many years ago and loved it! The giraffe picture in our living room is from our South African friends! Have a wonderful week! 💚🌷💚
Thank you Noelia! I am not surprised that we already share some subscribers. I just love her and knew that you all would too! Have a wonderful week! 💚💐💚
A tip for preventing tulips from drooping: because the stems are hollow, air gets trapped in the stems once they are put in water which prevents water from reaching flower head. Take a needle and make a hole through the stem just beneath the flower head, this will allow the air to escape. Also put a copper coin in the vase. (No idea the science behind this but it works)
Thank you! I know you will love Nikki She is an amazing artist and her videos are beautiful. Austin is doing well and sends his love! Have a wonderful Sunday! 🐾💚🌷
So my husband just heard an ad by Tito’s vodka asking people not to use their vodka as a disinfectant because it is only 40 proof and not effective enough, especially diluted. Have you heard of this? Just thought I’d pass this along for consideration.
Thank you Gwen! I am just finding this out too. From what I understand it works for killing most bacteria, but not all viruses. You can use rubbing alcohol (91%) in place of vodka in my recipe and that should do the trick. I am going to add a note to the description box next to the recipe. 💚😊💐
Hi Becky! Don't worry! I am always mindful about climbing and cleaning and I never do it when home alone! My sandals are actually very secure and made with non-slip soles, so I'm trying to clean as safely as possible. 💛😄💛
You are welcome Debbie! Vodka is great for killing bacteria and mold, but if you are concerned about viruses, it would be best to use isopropyl alcohol (91%) in place of vodka in my recipe. I will talk about this more in upcoming videos. Hope you are having a great start to your week! 💚💐💚
Thank you Peggy for your concern! My mom broke her arm while climbing and cleaning and so it is always on my mind. I am careful and never do it when home alone! 💛😄💛
Hi Bridget! Theoretically that is true and that is how we do it normally, but in order to be even more careful, paper towels are more sanitary. This is especially true if you have kids that may not be as thorough as they should be when it comes to washing their hands. 💚🌸💚

Thank you for coming over and welcome! I am so glad to have you here! It's funny that you mentioned being thorough. I noticed that I missed a spot dusting when I was editing the video and it really bugged me! I'm glad I was more careful on the floor! 💛😄💛
Love watching you all for a while. Helpful, the inspirational home care and discussion along with Jennifer L Scott channel! Thanks Robin and all! 💕
Thank you! We are all so glad to have you! 💛🌸💛
Já conheço o canal da Nikki, é um encanto 🌹
Estou feliz! Ela é maravilhosa!💚🌸💚
Thank you for sharing ❤ love the purple tulips ⚘ they are my favourite spring flower xx
Thank you Tina! I think they are my favorite this year! 💚🌷💚
First time watching ☺️ came over from Nikki channel
Thank you Heather and welcome! I’m so glad to have you here and look forward to getting to know you a bit! I hope you are enjoying a lovely Sunday! 💚💐💚
Your house looks lovely!
I'm quite curious, why you don't use your in-house vaccume?
I love Trader Joe's dark chocolate!💝
I really prefer to use vodka in my DIY cleaner. 💚🌸💚
Faith and Flour
Yes, thank you. One more quick question please 😆. What type and where did you get your bottle for your cream cleanser you use in the kitchen sink?
That is an old Mrs. Meyers cream cleanser bottle that I repurposed. 😊
Faith and Flour. Oh perfect was to reuse. Thank you 😊
Votre maison est magnifique, tout est fait avec énormément de goût☺️☺️superbe vidéo comme toujours👍👍😍
Merci Virginie! 💚💐💚
Hi, Robin. Thank you as always for your great videos 😘👍
I love your breakfast table and chairs.
love your videos! could you do another morning routine and night routine videos? its been just about a year since you last posted one?
Thank you Tonya! It has been a while. I appreciate your feedback and will see what I can do! 😄🌷💚
Robin, I couldn't get a promo to work on your link to Imperfect Foods. Thanks!
Hi Becky! Just use my link. There is no promo code. You should receive $10 off your order when you check out. Let me know if that does not work for you. 💛
This is great! I have been a long time subscriber to Nikki and you both make a nice combination. Be Blessed
Thank you Connie! I have been a long time subscriber of Nikki’s too. I am so excited to work with her. She is lovely through and through! 💚💐💚
I love your kitchen. I love the warm European look. It looks rich and gorgeous. I'm not a fan of the all-white kitchens many TH-camrs have.
Thank you! 💚🌷💚
Great video. Heads up Peace Lily plant maybe be harmful to animals if digested.
I follow you both so I’m really loving these videos 😊
Thank you Noelia! I am not surprised that we already share some subscribers. I just love her and knew that you all would too! Have a wonderful week! 💚💐💚
A tip for preventing tulips from drooping: because the stems are hollow, air gets trapped in the stems once they are put in water which prevents water from reaching flower head. Take a needle and make a hole through the stem just beneath the flower head, this will allow the air to escape. Also put a copper coin in the vase. (No idea the science behind this but it works)
Great idea but I remember sending a patient tulips and when they drooped even the doctors thought they looked incredibly artistic and unique.
Thank you Sally! Another person just told me about this. What a great tip - I cannot wait to try it! 💚🌷💚
Yay for collabs! I will definitely check out her channel! I wish it was storming here. I love storms and rain. How is Austin doing? 😊
Thank you! I know you will love Nikki She is an amazing artist and her videos are beautiful. Austin is doing well and sends his love! Have a wonderful Sunday! 🐾💚🌷
Hi! I come from Nikki’s channel.:)
Hi Karen and welcome! I’m so glad to have you here and look forward to getting to know you a bit. Have a wonderful Sunday! 💚💐💚
💚😊💐
You scare me up on that stool with those sandals! Love your videos! Thanks for losing them!
Hi Becky! Don't worry! I am always mindful about climbing and cleaning and I never do it when home alone! My sandals are actually very secure and made with non-slip soles, so I'm trying to clean as safely as possible. 💛😄💛
💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you! 💚💐💚
🌼🤗🌼👍
Thank you! 💚🌸💚
Thank you for vodka recipe since alcohol is becoming rare
You are welcome Debbie! Vodka is great for killing bacteria and mold, but if you are concerned about viruses, it would be best to use isopropyl alcohol (91%) in place of vodka in my recipe. I will talk about this more in upcoming videos. Hope you are having a great start to your week! 💚💐💚
🇾🇪🌷🌷🌷🙋🏼♀️
Love to watch your videos. But I must say you made me nervous watching you crawl up on your countertops to clean your cabinets! Be Careful!!!! LOL!
Thank you Peggy for your concern! My mom broke her arm while climbing and cleaning and so it is always on my mind. I am careful and never do it when home alone! 💛😄💛
Okay but... if you just washed your hands then germs shouldn’t be spread to a towel that gets changed daily. Because the hands are clean.
Hi Bridget! Theoretically that is true and that is how we do it normally, but in order to be even more careful, paper towels are more sanitary. This is especially true if you have kids that may not be as thorough as they should be when it comes to washing their hands. 💚🌸💚
