Good show. Try to remember that the British troops, although airborne, were not Paras. They were the 52nd/43rd Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. The Paras and Royal Marines came later
Very true, us heathens we just tend to lump them together :)
Thumbs up, cos I enjoyed it! Well done again.
Thank you
Looked like a fun game. The gliders looked good on the table.
They add a great narrative to the game. we used them as jump off points in this game.
Great stuff!
thank you
nice report from a very enjoyable game, even if my Germans got their backsides kicked on the bridge
I was amazed how long they held on.
Great battle, what did you use to make those hedges?
A chap Steve who runs Dice Cavern Games in Newark made them. I think he used rubberised horse hair.
@@TheEccentricMan neat, might experiment with it myself
great battle report
Who’s bridge is it Ken ? It looks spectacular !
It’s the one from the Warlord box set, it belongs to Steve Booth who left to set up his own shop in Grantham
Great game. Pity about those winter Germans though !
Hahaha, they had brought Camo for the house wall :)
I think scenarios like this need to be cooperative against the GM.
That would probably help greatly.
