Moreover, you also discussed some offenses punishable by the Revised Penal Code cognizable by the Lupon. Some are Alarms and Scandal, Use of False Certificate, Concealing one's true name and other personal circumstances, Physical injuries committed in Tumultuous Affray, Slight Physical injuries maltreatment and some of the crimes under Crimes against Security and Property. Good day Atty. Today I learned the jurisdiction of Katarungan Pangbarangay. All cases that has a penalty of one year or a fine not exceeding to 5,000 shall go first to the Barangay especially when the person who file a complaint and the person involve to it are residing to the same Barangay. These are some of the cases that shall bring it first to the Barangay. Crimes against public order and Crimes agaisnt public interes.

However this video also talked about punishment that is revised by the penal code which is considered by the lupon which are the alarms and scandal, use of false certificate and concealing one's true name etc. Thank you for another knowledge atty.

Good day atty. today ive learned about the jurisdiction of katarungang pambarangay which are those that have the punishment of under a year and a fine under 5,000 pesos. And i also noticed that the offenses that are punishable by the barangay have same features, which is they are all small cases or the cases that can be fixed/held in the barangay. thats all, thank you for teaching us lots of things this semester atty. !

You said that the cases that fall under their jurisdiction are those in which a maximum sentence of one year in prison or a fine of P 5,000 is imposed.
