Great update James👍. Amazing how much time a simple 30 minute job can actually take, nothing is ever as simple as you think it’s going to be🤣. Stay safe😊👍
Nice work james. I had to do the same thing on my grow pond drum. I dropped mine by around 70mm. I underestimated how much loss i would get once the pumps were turned on. Where it's only a 1000l pond, the loss in the drum box was quite a lot. which makes a massive difference on the time length of the cleaning cycle when the full potential of the surface area of the drum isn't being used.👌🏻
Hi James had the same problem with the rubber boots I cut them down below the jubilee clip and it gave me another 40mm and worked well and no leaks. Regards Nigel
I quite often watch YT videos on fast forward by holding down my thumb on the bottom right hand corner and I must say James your yibberdy yabbery sounds even more hilarious 🤣 Top video as always. Regarding the rubber 90’s see if you can trim them down a bit just leaving enough meat for the jubilee clip. It might gain you the extra 20mm you need possibly without compramising the sealing of the boot.
I would be surprised if your UVC bulbs are lasting as long as you’ve said, it maybe an idea to speak to Burton’s for clarification as normally they only efficient for six months.
@@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123 my misunderstanding James, it’s one of those maintenance things which are easy to forget. I’ve setup a reminder on my phone to change the bulbs on the pond and in my marine reef aquarium so that I get the best results from the UVC units.
