2:57 I had no idea that there's glass that changes colour! I'd gotten boxes of scrap glass from a stain glass place & now I'm wondering if there might be any in there... How do you tell? Is there a way? Your bulbs are adorable! This is bad. Since I've discovered your channel, I want to be able to do this....& I don't have time for the stuff I already have.
There is and it’s wonderful! Fusing glass and stained glass are different, and I don’t think stained glass would behave the same in a kiln. I got a copy of the Bullseye catalog (free and available on their site) It helps to identify the glass, and the scrap I buy is often marked, but not always, so I’ve discovered most reactions by happy accident. Once you see a glass react you never forget which one it is! I’m glad you like the bulbs! I think you’d love fusing, but I truly understand so much stuff and so little time! 😂
@@KathyFitz1113 As much as I'd love to see glass change colour like that, I'm glad I'm unlikely to get any surprises lol Oh wait...wait, wait, wait... The glass you use is so different than stained glass? So I couldn't melt it the way you do? (Bc I *could* get access to a kiln.) *sigh... I guess that's a good thing. I'm thinking I'll be using my glass for mosaic pieces. Stuff like that. Oh well. Can't do everything 🙂 Happy Holidays & thanks for the reply!
Really enjoyed watching you do these cute little lightbulbs. Homemade lip balm? You really do everything! lol
Milwaukee Markzall pens let you skip the lip balm step 🙂
Thanks! I’ll have to look into those. The lip balm works but makes such a mess!
