Thank you for sharing. I love the look of your media journal. This is the kind of media journal I like: minimal without all the trackers and other fluff that don’t care to look back on in the future. I also use the Hobonichi grid notebook for my media journal, but I have the problem of trying to write about everything I consume which is hard to keep up with. For the rest of the year I’m just going to review my favorites and forget the rest. As much I want to write about everything, I just don’t have the time. I can’t wait to see more of your journal in the future.
About “3 Body Problem” - it would be great if you could give the Chinese Drama a chance. The Netflix adaptation is….very westernized. The Drama is from 2023 and very enjoyable.
@@sujeyplans7720 I checked “Mydramalist” (a website for Asian dramas, look up “Three-Body” ) and it tells me it is available on the Tencent Platform, WeTV, Amazon Prime and Viki. Where exactly might depend on the country as well..as some dramas are locked, depending from where you watch it. You could also check TH-cam, sometimes the big Drama-platforms will show their Dramas on here too :)
I'm doing a similar thing, it's really fun! and it really motivates me to read and watch more stuff, as you said. Just a heads up, the netflix "documentary" about the menendez brother is really awful and full of misinformation, the director never got in contact with them and basically told a sensationalised version of the story HE wanted it to be (and later said the brothers should be thankful he gave them publicity). They released a statement saying it was really horrible and insulting and completely inaccurate and made them feel like all the progress they'd made to raise awareness for victims of abuse and terrible stories like theirs had gone done the drain. This isn't surprising, bc when the director made his previous "documentary" about Dahmer, he also refused to get in touch with the families of the victims, who really disliked the project. So there, just so you know!
Thank you for sharing!! I wanted to make an entertainment journal this year to just keep track of everything (episodes/pg I’m on, shows I want to watch, or reviews) and I tried but I got really tired of creating a layout each time. It became more of a log and only if I wanted to write about it xD it does look super nice though, being able to see all of your thoughts / reviews! Also I put my Table Of Contents/Index in the back so that I have more freedom of whatever number of pages I want to use for it. I know it may be a little odd but not sure if you’d want to do that :)
i love this idea!! i might just have to do it, thank you for sharing! also, because u mentioned monsters, i would definitely recommend the documentary over the show.

@@kailahmom1 doing a little less will help you stay consistent! I think that’s a great idea. It’s also nicer to look back on things you actually liked

I did not know that existed! Where do you think I could watch that version?

this is fun for also being more aware of the content one consumes. i am going to make one now, too!
Oh Im so glad you liked the idea! Happy journaling!
Amazing use of the hobonichi notebook! I currently have a blank one and I just love this idea for it. Your layout is nice and neat!~
@@SonnyDoodles oh thanks so much! I also love that the notebook doesn’t have a too many pages so I can chunk it up with entries.
lovely!
Thank you!
I'm considering keeping a media journal so I'm trying to find lots of videos on them.

I watched it and also some podcasts. The doc leaves out some important context!
