I got the same N2 Fairy Floss with gold edges and I got the same calendar print. I love the color and I love how smooth it is. The smudge wouldn't bother me at all. Once it is in a cover you won't notice it. I also got an A5 full year vertical in Forest with gold edges. One of the corners of my gold edging is scratched off a little bit. It doesn't bother me because as soon as I start filling it and it fluffs up I won't be able to see it. But, I understand if it bothers you.
I got the same one you did and I love the neutral vibe of it. Powersheets help you to make small progress on what really matters. Great video.

Wouldn't give any thought to a smudge. I often either have it in a cover, or throw stickers on the cover anyway.

Hi there! Thanks for the video. I am trying to find one of those NOLTY planners in A5...for 2025. Would you happen to have the number or where you got it? I had one the same in a B6 and loved that there was the small BLANK SPACE FOR THE WEEKLIES, AND THE DAILIES, I JUST PUT IN THE GRID SECTION BELOW... THANKS if you can help me find one in A5!! Janis

@@momeaux14 yes but the size has been an issue. It takes up a lot of real estate on my kitchen counter.
I believe it's Porter. At least, before this year, they were called Porters. Once they allowed distribution outside of Japan - they labelled them as POTR ... I had been wanting one for awhile so was excited they were shipping them to the US finally. The previous versions were around $300 (or more) on eBay; so this felt like a bargain. (stationerdy math)

@@senoritachapman it fits perfectly with no alterations to the book. It zips closed nice and even, too. No weird pulling on the zipper. Can’t fit too much extra in the pockets. And the pen loop isn’t really usable-I set my pen above the book (at the top) instead of the side and it zips well that way!

Wow, my entire order plus shipping costs less than that one cover! I’ve seen one unboxing video on an a6 one and to be honest, I’m very tempted.
I got this cover but I haven’t quite figured out how I’m going to be using it, so thanks for the helpful ideas! I haven’t seen anyone else on YT with it yet. I’m only a content consumer, not creator, lol. I think it’s beautiful and sturdy, and I’m probably going to use mine for work too.

Thank you so much for sharing! This was really helpful. I have ordered one, too. It’s not a cheap cover but neither are the Mina Perhonen or leather covers. There is a video and a blog post from Hobonichi about these covers. They are handmade in Japan and I think they can last forever.
Btw, Astrocatdraws recently showed this cover in her Hobonichi haul video here on TH-cam. And I saw Mylifemits unbox the A6 version on Instagram. 😊

I think this is so interesting! And if it makes your A5 easier to carry to and from work, I think it will be a great addition. I wonder if you could even use it to hold a different planner if you're on the go, depending on what you're needing that day or what the day looks like. Also, it looks like it's at least MADE to hold up completely for daily use!

@@jasdawn5 it’s certainly not for everyone. I’d call it a planner bag more than a cover.
I feel like that's about a price range for a lot of custom covers that size (some are even more $$) and this one has a lot more functionality - but it just depends on what you value committing your resources to!

New to planner Hobonichi is this an A5 cousin and you call it hon?
@@wagonclan4380 yes this is the A5 but it has a hard cover with a print. That’s what makes it a Hon but otherwise everything inside the cover is the same as the Cousin.

I have two pre-loved luxrul that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn't touch. It's not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
