I have never seen the squrial his just wonderful. What really amazes me is how the figurines look just like the illustrations. I just love your collection ❤Thank you for sharing ❣️
I always thought they were wonderful!!! I never did get to read any of the books but they always looked so sweet. I love cats and have two in my house. Thank you so very much for sharing them with us! 💜💜💜
Dear Lady Sylvia, I love, love, love this collection! What a joy. Have you ever been to Washington Irving’s home in Tarrytown, NY? It’s called “Sunnyside”. Very interesting. We seem to love the same things. I can get lost in books like that. They take you to another world. Very enjoyable! 💖 Veronica
My introduction to Beatrix Potter was actually the 90's film version (narrated by Carol Burnett). I loved it so much, especially the intro scene where it shows "Beatrix" running into her cottage to save her painting from the rain (before they jump into the actual story). Dreamy! I actually did not read the books (some of them) until I was an adult. I love that all ducks became Jemima for you, that is so sweet. Your Beatrix porcelains are adorable. I was also fascinated by the library when I was little (still am). I remember once, wanting to go on a Sunday, only to find out they were closed (as it usually goes) and I cried. My whole day was ruined. My mom was baffled, lol. Book are some of the best things to exist!
@@ladysylvia4018 If you search "The World Of Peter Rabbit & Friends The Complete Collection" you can find it here on youtube! This is actually not the one narrated by Carol Burnett (memories got crossed, I do love that version also though), but the one above is prettier and more true to the illustrations. It's the video that's about three hours long.
