Kind impressed with how just "ok", or average, his voice is. It just goes to show you it's more about the whole package, all the peices coming together to make a hit song. As a singer (non-professional), before recording on my own gear, I do a lot of warmups, and practicing
And I do dozens of takes before rolling with the best one I could do.
I believe he also really practiced before recording the actual song, and Autotune and processing is merely for that aesthetic, pleasing sound.
On GENIUS he probably just sang how he felt without putting real effort in it, I mean he sang it an octave lower sometimes here.
