Great video as usual, brother. I also enjoyed your Cleburne footage. Been to Cleburne many times growing up.
Too bad Fairfield is closing. Apparently it's supposed to happen on the 28th. Never been there unfortunately.
Million dollar homes and a golf course. What a blow to the State Park system and to us.

I appreciate it brother! I enjoyed Cleburne and can’t wait to get back out there! That’s cool that your family has been camping there for years. I will probably make Cleburne SP my stop off when I’m traveling through Dallas. I like it better than Cedar Hill SP. I’m saddened that we’re losing Fairfield SP. I just don’t understand how a park that’s been open for 46 years can be sold like that? Vistra should be ashamed for going after the money and not protecting the land for future generations! 👍😎

Yeah we checked it out spring break, you could go in but all camping was closed off 😢

It’s nice that the park is allowing visitors to check out the trails and day use areas before closing for good. I saw a rendering online of some resort that will be built out there. It makes me sick to think that all of the campgrounds will be torn out. Thanks for watching and safe travels! 👍😎

It really is a sad moment for our park system. I can’t believe that it will be lost forever for future generations. Unbelievable! 👍😎
