Hi! I came across a clip about ZB method some time ago on YT and I've been doing some research on line to find out more about that method ever since and just let me tell you this is the most exhaustive video I've ever found so far and thank you for that. Great Video! Thanks and greetings by a 49-year.young cover from South Eastern Italy.
I’m very impressed with Yiheng Wang, even though he is only 10 years old, he is constantly breaking world records with a brain that can plan 4 F2L pairs in just 1 look
Yeah thanks Max! Once you get used to the recognition, ZBLL become OP 😂 I am also thinking about doing an L ZBLL series like yours, so if you want to learn it, you could learn from my video 😉
Absolutely good video here explaining about zb and yes I love the ending. For top cubers, if you want to be the very very best, you gotta do everything possible to be the very very best, even if it means doing lot of work to shave off just a tiny bit of time
Yeah for sure. It will get to a point where cubing is literally almost maxed out of all improvements, and this will be the only way to improve. Love your thoughts on it!
I think EO control into ZBLL is in general the way top tier is heading. tymon often is influencing EO not only in last slot at for some solves it is optimal to control it from inspection to cross (eg:ZZ). but fpr some solves where you see a really efficient xx/xxxcross using ZBLS is optimal.
incorporating eocross zz would also be the meta. imagine having a scramble where eocross takes just 2-3 moves more than normal cross and you have automatic zbls and can spam RUL tps in f2l. of course when eo sucks dont do it but bad eo also means bad cross so it cancels out
Yeah that’s actually true, it would be really good, but ZZ EO cross is just not that good, but automatic ZBLS is really good though. A better idea is implementing edge control during F2L. It’s a really abstract idea, and hard to notice and think about during your solves, but if you can implement it, it is SUPER beneficial
This type of informative video you don't find on TH-cam. Know which methods and sub-methods the top cubers of the moment use or know. I liked the type of content.

@@bazartv2.031 Haha, Idk if you have ever tried doing a speed solve with Petrus, it's IMPOSSIBLE to look ahead, as you have to literally do EO in the middle of the solve, and even though block building is more efficient than ZB, it is not good and ergonomical to execute. Your TPS can Look ahead is way better with ZB or CFOP, and not with Petrus. There are too many blind spots for Petrus, since you aren't solving a cross. The only thing Petrus could be potentially used for is in FMC, and even then, there are way better method out there, so its kinda irrelevant. There is a reason no one uses Petrus, or even talks about it anymore...
@CuberCaiden Yes, I have tried it for speedcubing and I use it to this day (in case there are no good Roux blocks). The blind spots are not a problem for me, for as that I always see the too and front and a quick look at the bottom even uncovers for me the back side. I always valued and will value the methods, that are rotationless, honestly. And for that Petrus is not talked about anymore is probably that people stuck to canonical Petrus, which I have to agree is pretty far from good. It uses rotations, LL is inefficient, and 2x2 blocks are rarely a good thing to build, it's better to start off with 3x2x2 in my opinion, since it gives you more freedom and more pieces to solve at the same time. I remember some guy got a 3 second solve with Petrus, so idk why people just rejected it. Cool method, to say the very least. TPS is important, indeed, but if you have a billion moves in a solve, it does not help at all. Plus, look-ahead is just easier if you turn slower, which Peteus allows you to do. Yet I bet we can agree at one thing: EO and ZBLL are very cool and CFOP is over-rated.
