The crowd was disrespectful cheering against Kimiko Date, a 40 year old. But either way, it has been a career of Date choking in matches. Much like Nishikori. The only Japanese player to actually win a Grand Slam singles title is Naomi Osaka and she is half Japanese. It's the Haitian in her that got her the victory.
