How are you gonna review a 12v refrigerator without mentioning the average power consumption you're getting over time? And how much extra efficiency the extra outer cover provides? This is the single most important question to answer with respect to a 12v refrigerator
I haven’t found the answer to this anywhere. Even from the Trust Made website. I am interested in this but hoping I can get by off just using the 12V outlet in my Tacoma bed and not have to use an auxiliary power source. For the price it looks like a good deal, the 50L one is less than $300.

I was thinking of getting this for camping in my Tacoma while over landing. However another review I watched the guy said he didn’t think he’d take this on an off road trail as it might not be durable. He didn’t look like he really does much of that anyway. What are your thoughts about using this on off-road trails? Do you think it’s durable enough to handle the bumps as long as it’s secure of course.
It already survived shipping and that's as rough as it gets. I would probably repurpose the shipping box it came in since it did such a good job at protecting it.

Hey plz answer!? I got a 12v freezer and a 300wh powerpack. The return window has passed for the powerpack so I'm stick w it now... My question is, is it really dangerous what I'm doing health wise? .. I'm at work 12 hrs and powerpack seems to work for only about 5 hrs and when I get back the temperature of freezer is around 21 degrees. I turn generator back on and freezer gets back to temp... Tho it seems to stay at 10 degrees for several hrs before climbing back to 0. Weird ... Is this fine as long as the food still taste good or am I eating poison cuz of all the degree changes the food undergoes??? I don't care if it's poison as long as isnt killing me without me knowing basically. Thank you, sorry for long explanation

It needs to be plugged in so what I do during the day I leave it plugged into to my truck overnight just plug it in to my jackery (it’s like a portable battery)

I have a similar Alpicool 21L refrigerator that works great too, I also use it with an inverter and solar panel which allows me to run the fridge off grid and not have to rely on the truck.
Can it run nonstop?
Lord Void It depends on the amount of sunlight, I have been using a Ryobi inverter along with a Goal Zero power station and solar panels. The Ryobi allows me to swap out batteries. A combination of the inverters, extra batteries and the solar panel can get me through the weekend. I also have a 12v extension line that allows me to run the fridge off the truck without it running if needed, but usually can get away without having to draw off it. Not a perfect situation, but a huge improvement over what was available even a couple of years ago.
Todd Teulon what I have in mind is getting a dometic fridge, 2 dometic power station, and 140 watt panels.
I want to set it up where I can continuously charge the power station with the sun, then at night, I could use the second power station as a replacement. But if there’s a way to use just one power station to charge the fridge 24/7 without it dropping below 75%, that be perfect.
I’m a weekender with my truck, but I wanna make it function as a self efficient truck that can go off grid for many months.
Lord Void Sounds good, however the sun can be pretty unreliable and you will probably find you need to charge off the truck, or an ac source at times if you are going to run long term.

I don’t leave it plugged in over night u need to have another power source me I have a jackery but u can use many other portable power sources like a generator

When I look at JOYTUTUS PORTABLE FRIDGEs on Amazon there are too many negative reviews about the quality & the units dying, & NO customer service from JOYTUTUS. Many of the higher ratings were from customers that had not really used the fridges, yest.
I use mine all the time and have had it for almost a year now so far it’s still kicking then I recently got one of there bigger ones and for the price I can’t complain
