I spent a weekend in Nebraska riding my motorcycle at a local track called Motorsports Park Hastings, aka MPH. I can’t remember the last time I smiled so much! The people there really made the experience something special. Onboard track lap video coming soon!
TrackAddix run track days for motorcycles at MPH. They pride themselves on running a safe and fun experiences for all skill levels. I really appreciated their emphasis on camaraderie and their positive, friendly attitude. I felt incredibly welcomed and included throughout my weekend there. They offer a New Rider's School for anyone who has never been on a track before, or would like a refresher. They also run a local race series at MPH for local riders, no race license required. I loved watching the competition between the riders and the cheering and support for each other afterwards!
The track and facility itself are very well maintained. The track was repaved in 2021, so the surface is super smooth and grippy - I never felt any bumps or dips anywhere! All I missed was a little elevation, however to be fair - Nebraska is pretty flat! Jeff is a one man army who manages the track. Between him and the supporting staff, they do a fantastic job keeping things organized and running as efficiently as possible.
We rented an RV electric spot, which was plenty big for our 44ft toy hauler. There is a large paddock area with plenty of space for RVs, trailers, or whatever vehicle you have. There is also a covered race port called the “barn”, which you can rent a spot in for the weekend like we did. There are restrooms that have showers, which had amazing water pressure! They also have a club house with a classroom area downstairs. That was open throughout the weekend, serving breakfast, lunch and even a dinner in the evening, as well as smoothies and alcoholic beverages. I had a great time hanging out and chatting with everyone there on Saturday evening. The track is just outside of Hastings, so it’s very close to every amenity you could need; gas stations, hotels, groceries, restaurants, etc.

Very cool. And yes it’s always nice to have an RV at the track. I used to race an older Porsche, just grassroots racing from Phoenix area and California, and New Mexico years ago. Lots of fun.
Oh yeah, nothing like sleeping in your own bed haha. I bet you have lots of great memories from then, it must have been a blast!

Hastings with TrackAddix was my first track day and I fell in love with it. Totally amazing group of people. Taught me soo much. Rode with another org in Topeka and it was awful compared to TrackAddix. I'm really hoping the community at Jennings is like this because that's where I'll be riding since I move back to FL. I can't wait!! Really gonna miss the people at TrackAddix though.
Yeah I've had disappointing experiences with some orgs. It can be hit and miss, sometimes it's just that particular weekend or track. Keep an eye out for Sportbike Track Time, they do a few weekends in Jennings and are a great org as well! Their coaches are great when you ask them for help with something specific.
