I love this guy's content. His advice feels grounded and genuine. The only issue I got here is that I can't figure out what he gains from it all? Why doing it? Why arm your competition?!

Consistency is so hard, but so crucial. If you don’t stay consistent then the algorithms will punish you, and it will be almost impossible to grow

Hey rob, great video as always! About mistake #6, buying followers, I feel like a clothing brand with few instagram or tiktok followers might deter people from buying because they might think the brand isn't popular or just bad no matter the quality of the content you post. People like following trends and if a brand already has a decent follower count i have the impression it will insinuate more people to follow. It's quite difficult to get people to buy clothes from an account with 150 followers and 50 likes per post. Perhaps buying a few hundred followers/likes could give people the impression the brand is already a bit popular and by the time the brands follower and like count actually goes up people won't even notice that they were faked before. That's just my 2 cents though.

The big issue with me is that it affects all of the engagement from then on out. If your first few followers don’t engage with your posts - they don’t get shown to more and more people. If you have fake followers you’ll get no real engagement and it will hurt your account forever

Hello Rob, i’d love your input of my brand (i sell boxing hand wraps no clothing yet) my website has been up only since march, sales have increased month on month since then. Its early days but the brand identity is quite strong because no other brand does what we do. Thanks!
