- Imagine that you wake up in the morning, open your laptop and... there's no Internet! Yup, the whole Internet stopped working and you have to print it out on paper in order to save it. Just imagine how many pages it will be... We'd get back to printed press but containing all of our favorite websites and accounts. Sounds really nervous and chaotic - let's sort it out!

If that had to happen then the electricity bill would be ridiculous… not forgetting the amount of time that it would take.
I think we should have prioritised what we print as most of the internet doesn't need to be printed.

The planes would start going crazy after the internet is deleted, due to internet maps to guide the autopilots. Most planes rely on maps, but many planes would have to crash land or emergency land if the internet is deleted
This episode cracked me up. Because, thankfully I grew up without the Internet. And yes, I had a great childhood.
But I missed the Internet yes but not social media. I would miss it for things like what was the number I need it for that restaurant again while I’m out and about? Or in the case of one of my friends, she can’t find her way out of a paper bag. That would miss Google maps

If we could print the entire internet, there'd be enough paper to stack up enough to reach the moon, at the least.

Actually yes thats true but there are more other ways to make paper not just trees also rocks there are waterproof papers which most of the materials used are stone.

The question is. There's still have storage for downloading the video why would you panic to print out the document? Does it Sound easy to download the file and just save it rather than have to print it out one by one?

@@Ukelectricalani How much data have you put on the internet? if people took all their data back on their computers, it's possible.
@@UkelectricalaniStoring the data in storage drives is most likely still much more efficient than wasting paper to print all of the data. 74 zettabytes won't fit but paper doesn't as well, and when the internet starts back up, you would have to copy all of that data from the paper as well.

The internet is basically a connection between all computers and servers. So simply speaking, all websites are stored on a physical server somewhere in the world. Why not just keep it on those computers instead of printing it all out?

Well so true...I always make my pc a server and host a website and never notice that all the info is stored on the pc but the thing is it is in a very complicated form called code.

but then is it printing that news story that's being told on the tv? and then when that was printed is it going to print the one that's saying that it's printing what this news story is about and what the news anchor is saying right now? and then they can just say that after we shut down the news agency, the rest will be printed up until 3 seconds after the shut off. and then everything will be 100% printed but don't forget to add in that 5 minutes of commentary and communication because it's super important. this is probably one of the most important useless fact that anybody could have told anyone ever
