    Getting all my stuff tomorrow/today(it's 4am) and I got that exact case and of course there's not many build videos of it. But this video is perfect(aside from the cable extensions and clips which I may buy later) to help me build mine. Super excited and nervous for this. Hopefully everything goes well. I got a Gigabyte A520I AC mobo, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, MSI GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, Teamgroup 2tb nvme ssd, Thermalright Assassin x120 CPU cooler, and Zalman S2 Acrylic case. Should be good for 1440p. If I could make one change, it would be stretching for a 1TB SSD since they are so cheap and not much more expensive than 512GB. Especially, since the size of modern games is insane.
    If i could make a 2nd change it would be spending a little more for 32GB of RAM. Again, the price of DDR4 RAM has come down significantly, it doesn't make any sense NOT to spend the extra $20-25 extra.

    At a low price point I can’t justify buying a new gpu, i got and sold my 3060ti for less than 250, I wouldn’t have been heart broken or financially ruined if my graphics card blew up and died, its WELL worth the risk of not having a warranty to be able to get a card keep it for 6 months then sell it to upgrade. I imagine ill probably feel different if my 3080 starts artifactIng tho I’ll wish I had a warranty then

    Joey, have you ever thought of building a secret PC? Like I mean just for fun of course. I mean if you aren’t getting sponsored by the brands, you should consider a build in which you remove all logos and explain price without showing the brand name for the parts. Then do the whole benchmark etc and eventually surprise everyone with all the parts used. If you were able to pick up the parts for super good deals that would really make it interesting. Idk just a suggestion. Again, great video, glad you are back. Hope all is well with you, your family.

      His build process is excellent. His parts choices are horrible. This build will struggle hard with new games and it will be far worse at the end of the year. Even in the old lower demand games he shows the CPU can only get half to 3 quarters the fps of a very cheap budget GPU's full capability. Imagine, $600 for that much waste of hardware power on a new build. The money can be much better spent.

    I recommend saving up a bit to get the Ryzen 5 5600, not only for the upgradability in the future, but also because the Ryzen 5 5500 doesn't support PCIE 4.0. Thus not getting the best out of the RX 6600. Great video!

    • @royalespongebob
      @royalespongebob ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Manxy Why is that so, you don't have to upgrade everything else. The 5600 can handle much more, butbif your budget is limited right now, just use the RX 6600. Like I mentioned, there's an upgradability path for the future, once you have more money you can upgrade the GPU.

    • @royalespongebob
      @royalespongebob ปีที่แล้ว

      @Kinse Definitely the CPU like I mentioned. Swap the Ryzen 5500 for a Ryzen 5600 non X. I don't think 5600X is necessary right now, if you're on a budget. But for sure Ryzen 5600 since it supports PCIe 4.0. A performance boost there and upgradability if you want to update the GPU down the line.

      @@stargirlearth Sure, get the 5600X if you want to. If your budget is limited and absolutely need a PC right now, just upgrade the CPU and stick to the parts. Once you feel the need to you can upgrade the GPU, too. The 5600/5600X can handle pretty much everything up to the RTX 3080/RX 6800XT with little bottleneck. I guess if you're watching this, you have a rather limited budget, so just swap out for a 5600/5600X for now.

    Why nobody uses after market coolers for the ryzen 3000/5000 series? Spend the money from the custom cables and get a 4 copper pipe cooler tower, then you will have a true budget build, with good temperatures :D

    Nice build. You would get better performance by going with a 5600x with PCIe4.0 support on the B550 motherboard. Again, nice and clean build.

    So what's the real difference between a $600 build and a $1600 build? As far as i can tell, the 600 build can run the same games as the more expensive one, and doesn't seem to perform any less. Is it like building a 600 horsepower engine? Sure it might have more power than a normal sports car, but outside of a drag race, when would you ever need 600 horsepower.

    Idk why people who are on a budget don't buy used, I have bought used so many times and have never had an issue and I bought a 3070 for $220 (the same price as the 6600 new) and I recently switched to a 6700 XT for another $220. I have had no issues buying used and I am very glad I went that route rather than playing it safe but ending up with 80% less performance.

One game I am having issues with due to high requirements is Forspoken. I wish you could show a build capable of playing it with very little issues. Nice videos though. Game test ideas Dark Souls, 7 Days 2 Die, Dying Light, Black Desert Online, Elden Ring or Biomutant.

      The avr wouldn’t necessarily be mandatory but definitely would help in case of random power outages as far as thermal paste I’d recommend you’d get a the best one available to you as they last longer and have batter spread when clamping down good luck bro would love to see your build running
