I know someone commented this in a previous video - but last summer I was about 4.5 months pregnant (with twins) and classroom setup was a BEAR. This summer I’m about 14 weeks pregnant, and though I’m not going back to the classroom this year, I’m exhausted just watching you do this!! Kudos, your room looks beautiful, your kiddos are lucky to have you! Have a great school year!!!

Also been in the self same situation where building work wasn't complete so we had 3 days to get ready (even then workmen kept appearing left, right and centre) but it all worked out and meant we were all in the same boat and couldn't worry too much. Your class know you and that helps big time! x

I love Temu. I wear a lot of dangly earrings and got a ton of super cute ones on Temu. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I got from them! I’ve had to so fast setups before too. Once my job changed literally a couple of days before kids started so I had to tear down a classroom at one school and build it back up at another in two days! It wasn’t pretty but it was functional. Good work!

If the school purchased a teacher's desk for you to use you should have to use it. My school allows very little in personal furniture in our classrooms. They buy the furniture and expect us to use it .

How do you use the students planner ?
I just have them write their weekly home assignments to get them used to it for 4th grade. All homework for me is optional though

I start at 9 and the kids are dismissed at 3:45. I leave right at 4. I go in early and refuse to stay late. Lol
