I love this. It gives me the same feeling I got when people were making anime AMV's in the early 2000's, which were some of my favourites to watch. It's not over-edited and the song is great.

People can complain about G5 as much as they want (I disagree, but lets not open that can of worms right now), but this fight is peak animation. I don't know if they can top this with the future big battles to come (Blackbeard, Imu, possibly Shanks if he doesn't get killed offscreen)

I recently started to re-read one piece, and this hits just different. It seems so different to all other battles, and not because of Luffys new fruit, and a bit different fighting style, it is just ON ANOTHER LEVEl. Both in terms of visual and strengh of opponents. The sheer level of devastation this battle creates is more than all of Luffy previous fights COMBINED, and evem beyond. It just shows HOW powerfull he is right now. And what monster Kaido is that hes able not only go Toe-to-toe with THIS but even more - beat it once.
Makes me think what would have come if Kaido got to Marine Fort, and how strong is Shanks to stop THIS. Im glad for Kaido. Even if hes dead, he got what he wanted in the end. Worthy opponent and battle for the ages. He might be a bastard, but he was damn charismatic one.
As for Luffy - he seems like a power what just cant be stopped, combined with a natural shonen protagonists endurrance this looks insane. Makes you think the only reason Kizaru is still alive, is cause hes not a bastard and Luddy doesnt have a reason to hate him.
I love your passion, but lemme just note some errors.
Luffy doesn't have a new fruit, his fruit awakened just when he was at deaths door, also his fruit especially is on steriods in awakening.
His fighting style is completely altered with awakening since everything around him is rubber incl. his inner organs, essentially he's a fully awakened looney toon. Note even Kaido calls it absurd, and he's seen a lot.
Also I don't think Kaido is dead, so far not a single villain has died to Luffy I don't think...

@@sanktpierre8025 well, lemme correct as well. I know he didn't get a new fruit, but also - this isn't awakening. It might be, but it wasn't confirmed. It's just true power of his fruit. It also doesn't change the everything around him into rubber. Nika fruit let's him literally bend reality. He can do everything he can imagine. He's just limited cause he himself thinks of his ability as a rubber. When he grabs lightning it doesn't became rubber, like when doflamingo turned stone into strings. It's still lightning, he just uses it as rubber. If he knew he could and wanted - he could literally make the lightning into fire or triangle or fish. He could change whatever he wants and howether he wants, he just doesn't know it yet. He thinks he's rubber, so fruit tries to adapt(mind you, soon fruits has mind of its own). As for awakening - his form highly suggests so, but everything he showed this arc and next one yet is pretty much basic nica ability, except when it affected ground, lightning, or kaidos body. Come to think of it - it probably is awakening, yeah, but it's not like all this power is awakening, most of it - just Nika.

Destroy gear 5 what? It was literally exactly like it was in the manga just with the parts in between panels filled in, and was was added in between panels matched perfectly with what was in the manga panels. Just because YOU don't like gear 5 doesn't mean the anime ruined it as it was exactly as Oda intended it to be: "The most ridiculous power in the world."

@@user-hi5eg6zs2i They didn't add anything to the fight that wasn't already there other than the things that connected each panel together. If you'd read the manga you'd know that. The manga is notorious for jumping around with nothing to show how things happened. For example Kaido goes from being on top of Onigashima in 1 panel, to showing the castle on fire in the next panel, to Kaido is just chilling in the air inside of Onigashima. And it does that all of the time. Other manga would include a panel showing Kaido entering Onigashima to try and have some flow to events. Complaining about "parts they added" makes no sense because they literally have to add a bunch of stuff more than other anime have to in order to connect the panels.
