Fake Dewalt Battery

So you got an email from Amazon notifying you that they sold you a counterfeit Dewalt battery but you have 20 batteries and not sure which one is counterfeit. Well that's where I found myself and had to do some investigation to identify the fake battery.

people will return the fake battery and they will resell it again to someone maybe you

Idk if anyone else had put this but on the fake battery it doesn't have the lithium ion wording the top edge as well

On eBay people are selling the 2 pack Dewalt 5 AH for $86. Home Depot they are $149.99. Makes you wonder………….

The fake ones do not have the bar code symbol I had them picked out even before you opened them

Thanks ... I was wondering about the screws, new board layout, and the power level staying on. Mine is identical .... also, there is dielectric grease on the connectors that you can only see after opening the battery.

So we basically have buy it then open it to check see it fake.. it no way to know fake before buy.

Them purple batteries are definitely fake Samsung batteries are green just pulled my 4 amp battery apart to make sure.

Look at charging terminals. Original is copper, fake is silver colored.

Port quality video as you don't give us a nupt information as you're taking them apart, which is the fake battery and which is the real battery you should redo this. It's important to know, but you're doing a sloppy job. Sorry, buddy, try again.
