Zach didn't burn the steaks. He wanted to show off by preparing them sous vide, but from what I managed to see and make out of it, he used food storage ziploc bags instead of proper vacuum sealer bags. Ziplocs aren't 100% watertight, so in result he ended up soaking the meat in tepid water for several hours. A good ole steak only needs a cast iron skillet, less than 2 minutes searing on both sides and a few minutes in the oven, maybe a a few more, depending on one's preferred doneness.

Season 2 definitely didn't have a golden couple...what a dysfunctional group of people. I love, love, love Brett and Tiffany! I honestly think this "experiment" works best for people over 30. I'm pretty sure Brett has the money to spend. She makes decent money, but I think he makes BIG money. Offering to split the bills proportionately is the man of every girl's dreams! So, what is it that Micah likes about Paul? They're just kinda odd and don't seem to mesh. Micah's friends are horrible and if she's friends with them...well...yeah. I know I was near tears seeing him by himself whole Micah was with her friends. You could see it in his eye that he was upset. I used to put friends first and ended up relationships because of my best friend..guess what we are not friends anymore. Also I got the feeling too that Brett spends the money because he can afford it. Like for me paying 100s of dollars in one meal is really expensive. Heck the Chinese buffet w more than 2 ppl is too expensive.. but for one of my family members that is a D.A is not that bad. So yes Tiffany prob makes good money but nowhere near Brett. I love Zach so much but he needs a lot more therapy and self-work. I don't think he's aware that he chose Irina because he felt safe and comfortable around her, like they were on the same level. Whereas he felt inferior to Bliss. He chose Irina simply because he felt like he wasn't good enough for Bliss. He didn't feel judged and beneath Irina, so she felt safe as a choice and as a partner. He chose Irina because he wouldn't feel judged, scared and always afraid of being rejected and abandoned (like he would feel with Bliss). In episode 8, this was very apparent. The conversation started out by Bliss expressing that she has a hard time getting over the feeling that she is the backup choice. Zach starts out by trying to reassure her but the moment that Bliss tries to reassure herself, by saying "well I mean, I know I'm better than Irina", that majorly triggers Zach. Not because he cares about Irina and not because he doesn't want Bliss to feel reassured that she isn't just his backup, but because that comment triggered Zach's deepest insecurities. As I mentioned previously, Zach felt comfortable around Irina because he felt like they were on each other's level. So when Bliss said she was better than Irina...to Zach, that felt like she was saying that she was better than HIM. Even though it personally triggered him, I was so surprised that he knocked Bliss down so much in that moment. He checked her, called her pretentious and by extension, ruined the entire progress he was making about reassuring Bliss that she shouldn't feel less than Irina. He effectively just reinforced the idea in Bliss's mind that Irina is special to Zach and Bliss is not #1 in his mind. Bliss SHOULD feel better than Irina but I guess it's probably just not a good look to go around saying that. However, in that moment, if I were Zach, I would have let her say that she was better than Irina because she was speaking from emotion and insecurity and just wanted to be reassured that she is #1 to Zach

I have such a hard time with bliss and Zack cause for me it's like if bliss is happy I'm happy but then after that scene where she addresses being the second choice, it didn't seem like she was happy. And I definitely didn't like they way he handled that.
Based on what they aired I don’t think he understands how to apologize in this kind of case. I would expect a period of groveling and words of affirmation, which he frequently straight up refuses to do. Like I think eventually it could be a funny speed bump of an otherwise good couple but he’s not reassuring her in the way that I feel he should. Ex: you’re so beautiful, I love spending time with you, I’m so excited for our life together, other similar compliments based on how great she is and he… doesn’t? EDIT: yeah I think my issue is he doesn’t support her for his screw up unprompted

Bliss is faking it. Her body language does not mirror his, and she seems just as put off by him as Irina was. She gives off "The producers made me do it" vibes.
It got weird but I don’t think she overstepped by asking. She’s his future wife and they are combining their lives together, that includes finances. She should know how much he spends on things, vice versa, because they will be making financial decisions that impact them both. Especially if they have any long term goals like buying a house.
If anything, she didn't go far enough. Money problems are cited as a major cause of divorce, their different spending habits can become an enormous source of conflict. Better to iron that all out before they tie the knot
I thought she handled it very well actually! She could have been much more harsh or judgmental, but she kept the vibe light and made some jokes. It’s an important conversation to have and it’s always uncomfortable.

Jackie for sure is self sabotaging her relationship. She did say that she wasn’t attracted to him physically after she met him…. So I think that and the fact that she is going through a lot with her family that she probably doesn’t see Marshall as her partner and more of a bestie. I think it’s awful that she is doing that and stringing him along instead of being honest with herself and letting him go so he can get back to actually finding who he needs to be with.
forced drama is to strong of a word if you watch Lauren and Cameron youtube channel. the only thing the producers do is ask them to ask each other questions. and the questions that they want them to ask they dont have to do if they do not want to. this is just a case of alot of immature people that do not take it has serious has other like brett and tiff and Lauren and Cameron
I agree this set of episodes are boring. I hear a lot of people liking this season; really not that into it anymore. Maybe last 2 or 3 episodes will change my mind.
The pod episodes aren't as good as S1, I don't think I watched much of the other seasons. They didn't show the other contestants at all having conversations. Just the few that got in engaged and their other connections. Also they barely showed the other castmates hanging out in the lounge talking to each other like they did with Rory.

Honestly Micah is nasty and insecure. She chooses to be friends with girls who are insecure and who low key have some sort of jealous streak towards her. Irina was up her butt at the beginning and I found That weird. Then at a party when Micah said there was weird tension between her and Chelsea was in Micah’s head. irina almost said that maybe it’s because Chelsea is insecure or jealous of Micah and that is not at all what’s happening. Chelsea is so secure and a class act. Irina was projecting and she knew that so she stopped herself from saying it. Low key, irina probably envies Micah for her looks and that’s why she acts like her puppet. Also the rest of Micah’s friends are like that. Micah is a solid 6/10 so not sure why they are acting like she’s so beautiful and such as prize but they subconsciously feel like she’s above them and so low key they don’t want her to be happy. The toxic dynamic and projecting between these women is insane. Micah would never be friends with a Chelsea or bliss because they are secure, grown women and would call her out and never be up her butt. Micah does not want women she is intimidated by, women that may be “threatening “ meaning women who have more too offer….both in mind and beauty so subconsciously (maybe consciously) chooses women that she too feels are below her and not threatening. Ugh…..girl world is tiring. This is why I find it hard to be friends with women. Too much of this “competition “ mind set that women have with each other and it manifests as sneaky behavior and catty comments.

I love Zach so much but he needs a lot more therapy and self-work. I don't think he's aware that he chose Irina because he felt safe and comfortable around her, like they were on the same level. Whereas he felt inferior to Bliss. He chose Irina simply because he felt like he wasn't good enough for Bliss. He didn't feel judged and beneath Irina, so she felt safe as a choice and as a partner.
He chose Irina because he wouldn't feel judged, scared and always afraid of being rejected and abandoned (like he would feel with Bliss).
In episode 8, this was very apparent. The conversation started out by Bliss expressing that she has a hard time getting over the feeling that she is the backup choice. Zach starts out by trying to reassure her but the moment that Bliss tries to reassure herself, by saying "well I mean, I know I'm better than Irina", that majorly triggers Zach. Not because he cares about Irina and not because he doesn't want Bliss to feel reassured that she isn't just his backup, but because that comment triggered Zach's deepest insecurities. As I mentioned previously, Zach felt comfortable around Irina because he felt like they were on each other's level. So when Bliss said she was better than Irina...to Zach, that felt like she was saying that she was better than HIM.
Even though it personally triggered him, I was so surprised that he knocked Bliss down so much in that moment. He checked her, called her pretentious and by extension, ruined the entire progress he was making about reassuring Bliss that she shouldn't feel less than Irina. He effectively just reinforced the idea in Bliss's mind that Irina is special to Zach and Bliss is not #1 in his mind.
Bliss SHOULD feel better than Irina but I guess it's probably just not a good look to go around saying that. However, in that moment, if I were Zach, I would have let her say that she was better than Irina because she was speaking from emotion and insecurity and just wanted to be reassured that she is #1 to Zach

I have such a hard time with bliss and Zack cause for me it's like if bliss is happy I'm happy but then after that scene where she addresses being the second choice, it didn't seem like she was happy. And I definitely didn't like they way he handled that.

Based on what they aired I don’t think he understands how to apologize in this kind of case. I would expect a period of groveling and words of affirmation, which he frequently straight up refuses to do. Like I think eventually it could be a funny speed bump of an otherwise good couple but he’s not reassuring her in the way that I feel he should.
Ex: you’re so beautiful, I love spending time with you, I’m so excited for our life together, other similar compliments based on how great she is and he… doesn’t?

It got weird but I don’t think she overstepped by asking. She’s his future wife and they are combining their lives together, that includes finances. She should know how much he spends on things, vice versa, because they will be making financial decisions that impact them both. Especially if they have any long term goals like buying a house.
If anything, she didn't go far enough. Money problems are cited as a major cause of divorce, their different spending habits can become an enormous source of conflict. Better to iron that all out before they tie the knot

Jackie for sure is self sabotaging her relationship. She did say that she wasn’t attracted to him physically after she met him…. So I think that and the fact that she is going through a lot with her family that she probably doesn’t see Marshall as her partner and more of a bestie. I think it’s awful that she is doing that and stringing him along instead of being honest with herself and letting him go so he can get back to actually finding who he needs to be with.

The pod episodes aren't as good as S1, I don't think I watched much of the other seasons. They didn't show the other contestants at all having conversations. Just the few that got in engaged and their other connections. Also they barely showed the other castmates hanging out in the lounge talking to each other like they did with Rory.

Honestly Micah is nasty and insecure. She chooses to be friends with girls who are insecure and who low key have some sort of jealous streak towards her. Irina was up her butt at the beginning and I found That weird. Then at a party when Micah said there was weird tension between her and Chelsea was in Micah’s head. irina almost said that maybe it’s because Chelsea is insecure or jealous of Micah and that is not at all what’s happening. Chelsea is so secure and a class act. Irina was projecting and she knew that so she stopped herself from saying it. Low key, irina probably envies Micah for her looks and that’s why she acts like her puppet. Also the rest of Micah’s friends are like that. Micah is a solid 6/10 so not sure why they are acting like she’s so beautiful and such as prize but they subconsciously feel like she’s above them and so low key they don’t want her to be happy. The toxic dynamic and projecting between these women is insane. Micah would never be friends with a Chelsea or bliss because they are secure, grown women and would call her out and never be up her butt. Micah does not want women she is intimidated by, women that may be “threatening “ meaning women who have more too offer….both in mind and beauty so subconsciously (maybe consciously) chooses women that she too feels are below her and not threatening.
Ugh…..girl world is tiring. This is why I find it hard to be friends with women. Too much of this “competition “ mind set that women have with each other and it manifests as sneaky behavior and catty comments.
