    Just bought one, 2004 with full titanium Akrapovic and OE system, only 4K miles.. 👌🏼💚 (Edit: it’s an A2, late registration)

    Gotta say find this really comfy for a sports bike and can ride for 2 or 3 hours without cramping up. At 6ft and 90kg id go as far as saying this is the most comfortable sports bike ive every had the pleasure of riding.......

    love pushing traction limits and max speed on my zx. took five years to pound it good. live to redlining every gear over 100,000 kms now

    I just bought one today , went on the hwy and I did 300km, and I still have 2500rpm still to go. So I may reach 330 or 340km/h . This bike is unreal ...

      How is the handling, can you still be aggressive in corners with it?

    • @iainbaker2742
      @iainbaker2742 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@DushanTorbjorn they handle sweetly and dont feel too big and heavy, i love mine! That said they wont change direction as quickly as shorter/lighter bikes but still offer a rewarding ride. If i was to upgrade anything on bike it would have to be the brakes, whilst they are not bad, they lack feel and initial bite compared to say an r1 or fireblade of similar age.....best things about the bike are the motor, comfort, handling and the headlight. I can see me keeping mine for a good while!

      Do you still have this bike?Are you happy with it?
      I'm thinking about getting one just like this in green and it's a 2000.

    Great review! One thing i do have to comment on is the statistics that the video presents. It states top speed of 182 mph. when ive gotten mine to 205mph when i was bone dry stock. Also, on a dyno, stock, mine was pushing 185hp. Not the presented 178.

      +Annette Phillips Is your bike one of the earlier models. Carb models have higher top speed.

      Speedo error. The percentage of error increases at higher speeds.

    • @Taztriple
      @Taztriple 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The A1 model ( the first zx12r) was unrestricted and did or does make more power and top speed. The following models were restricted to 186 mph as a industry imposed speed limit between kwak and suzuki to avoid a top speed war that might attract governmental legislation that would ultimately harm sales

    The 2000 Kawasaki ZX.12R that I owned was the most "Fantastic Street Machine" that I have ridden! Comfort was Not an issue for Me(5'7"), due to the design of minimal lean-angle.

    Get one for £3000 and blow your mind. It's a classic now, can only climb in value.

    2/10 comfort?? depents on the body type of the rider I think, it's really comfortable, can ride it forever but the mileage doesn't allow that ;)

    • @luvyesmusici4886
      @luvyesmusici4886 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a big, comfortable, really quick, and just as fast sled, that most importantly stays planted at speed. Def. not for most riders. At speed, it is simply wonderful, if you have a nice highway to yourself, with no law enforcement. It's really too fast to not have to worry how long you could get locked up for, and how much money it would cost. The bike continues to pull at least up to 167 mph. Sadly I did not feel comfortable enough, I enjoy having a license, to redline it, to the speed limited 188 mph on my bike. I would like to make a trike out of it one day.

    how can i check the difference in this bike model, i got friend of mine who is selling zx12r model 2006 but when i check all previous models 2001-2006 looks same, whats the difference can you tell?

    • @twowheelpilot
      @twowheelpilot 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2006 looks different from earlier ones. More sporty. Lights and ram scoop changed alot too. Plus late model ZX12 should have radial brakes. Mine has and it's a 2005. 2006 will be restricted as is my 2005. They slam into the limiter at 301kph. If that isn't fast enough for you buy a jet fighter. I can't even be arsed to try and derestrict mine.
