I love the sass in this piece. Kirstie being so sultry, Mitch being sassy, Kevin pulling out the flugelhorn at the end, Matt with those lovely bass notes especially at the beginning and Scott getting into the riffs...all of it's just wonderful.
I heard a great descriptor of their sound this week. Someone said they have emotional harmony. The joining of their voices just brings a feeling that’s hard to describe but wonderful to hear and feel.
Matt and Kevin are just absolute 🔥in this!! They all knock it out of the park with their gorgeousness and sass- both looks and sound!! It doesn’t make sense how good they were, are and will continue to be.
Kevin not only can play Cello and beatbox at the same time, he also can play saxophone and trumpet so he knows the sound they make. Oh yeah, he can play the piano too.
Kevin also vocalizes a trumpet sound in their original song 'A Little Space' which they perform with 3 members of K-Pop band Ateez . This one is guaranteed to brighten up your day 🌞
I can't get enough of this song! I'm totally blown away by the sound Kevin makes in the first part - I don't know what the instrument is called, it is wood & it has ribs on it. Kevin sounds exactly like that. But when he starts his trumpet, I have no idea how he manages to make it sound exactly like a trumpet with a mute. How??? Thanks for my Pentatonix fix &.and your musical insights.
Love your reactions! Have you reacted to Scott singing ”I Should Tell Ya Momma On You”? (Solo) If not, you should do it. He’s so good, the song’s good and it’s all a capella. I would love to see you react to it🤗
Lovely reaction. Thank you. I love rematching PTX videos n cannot wait for new ones. Kevin played his imaginary bugle or trumpet in Rocking Around the Christmas Tree. Kirstie had her leg in a cast, so they danced around her
Love your reaction! Interestingly, Kevin played an invisible flugle horn during The Sing Off in 2011, so he started adding things like this right at the beginning of PTX. Although it was very good on the show, this is better, because they have all gotten better, which I never thought was possible, but they keep proving it is.
Kevin does something similar to his "muted trumpet" sound in the PTX collaboration with ATEEZ on the PTX original A Little Space - leave it to PTX to make a happy sounding break-up song! And Kevin does a bugle sound in Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, so making instrument sounds for things besides drums is no big deal for him.
Hey just stopped in after subscribing from the Hi Ren! reaction and saw you have PTX reactions and this one is one of my favorites they've done. So glad to see we find them magical, as is their cover of Come Along (I say because it's a cover of a song that makes me think of fairies). Have you seen their Can't Hold Us?
Thanks. I've not seen either actually. I have a good amount of PTX and also a few Superfruit reactions, each with their own playlist. Also, I was sitting second row center stage with Scott Hoying opening up for Angelina Jordan and then singing a duet with her of All of Me with Toby Gad who wrote the song with John Legend. I have raw footage from that place for both of those on my channel 😁

Love Scott❤️
I LOVE this cover of Havana... it just drips with the feel of hot and sexy Cuban nights! Pentatonix at their best.

Re piano: As can Scott and Mitch.
@@thechomiji - oh yeah....
I absolutely love their version of this song. So stunning!! What am I talking about? Perfection. Greetings from South Africa
Ooh, multipliers for each other, I really love that, thanks. The whole is more than the sum of its parts. Loved your reaction, as always! Peace …
Yes the gestalt

Absolutely adore your PRX insight and reactions. Please keep it coming!
Great reaction to this beautiful Pentatonix video. It's one of my (many) favorites. Kevin also does sounds of flugelhorn, bugle and many more.

You should find some fan cam concert video of them singing this. It's pretty funny.
Specifically from the 2019 tour. Watch Scott and Mitch…. On the “I loved him then I left him” line 😁
@@slhoog8164 Kirstie dancing in 2018 was great too.

Remember, only upgrades!!!
I really like what you said about them, they talent grows exponentially when they are each added in together. I agree.
Yeah... !!!
As usual, PTX does not do covers, they do upgrades! So sexy.

Kevin's trumpet...
Recommend their audio track of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy for a 1940s romp.
