    Do you struggle with creating perfect, symmetrical handles or full charcuterie boards? Are you looking to take the guesswork out of fabricating unique and functional pieces of wood art? Our new line of laser cut acrylic templates will become a staple in your shop, allowing you to quickly cut charcuterie board handles and serving try handles with ease.
    Using them is easy as this video demonstrates:
    1. Simply trace your shape onto your wood. Rough cut the wood (leaving 1/16-1/4" of material around the perimeter of the shape).
    2.Affix the template to your rough cut wood using two sided tape or hot glue.
    3.Using your router table and sufficiently sized flush trim bit, glide the bearing of the router bit along the template edge, while the blade portion of the bit removes all the excess wood material, effectively duplicating the router template shape onto your piece of wood.

    Just ordered the mini multi handle template and the beer flight template. Next payday I’ll order the beer flight silicone mold.

    How thick do you recommend the boards be? What about length? I'm interested in templates, but sizes seem to be all over the map and nobody really talks about thickness. Love the handle idea!!

      The vast majority of boards we have made, and what i see others make, assuming the dimensions are under 30" on the longest side, is 1" thick. We see some 3/4" thick, but those are usually under 16x12. So typically 1" is a good ending point

    Hi, quick question where did you purchase your flush trim router bits from? And what sizes are they? Thank you in advance for your time and help.

      These are from Amazon.ca, generic 1/4" shank and 1/4" diameter bit.

    Does it matter if you use a triple or double fluted bit?

    • @CraftedElements
      @CraftedElements  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bobby, The bits im using are double most of the time, so i can only imagine the triple would just provide a nicer finish.

    Can I use a regular hand router with those bits or do I have to use a router table?

    • @CraftedElements
      @CraftedElements  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most definitely. You can use a handheld router. Its just easier to use a router table.

    Can you use a handheld router if you dont have a table router?

    • @CraftedElements
      @CraftedElements  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you definitely can. It's a bit more time consuming but does work.

    Nice product, but shipping way to high for a piece of plastic.

      We appreciate all comments but we move a lot of these each day, so clearly most people don’t share your opinion
