hey Michael! I had the same thought too LOL. I think in reality the "stash" of cards probably sits on the table. The stash is 8 cards that you deal out at the beginning and set aside until someone draws that card.

Thanks! Good observation, I had to look it up. The Alter the Future cards are the ones with the "NOW" in the top right corner. From the rules, it states that the card "can played at any time, even in the middle of another player's turn (but not in the middle of an action)"
hi Gino! Check out the comment that I pinned on this video. It goes into more detail about how the Tower of Power works. You don't have to use the tower - you can just deal some cards out at the beginning for the Tower of Power card. I guess if you don't like it you could remove the Tower of Power card. Basically the Tower of Power provides protection from stealing. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Imagine stealing an exploding kitten
Believe it or not, there's an "Original" rule for the barking kitten. Basically instead of card swapping you defuse it or you explode.

"Alter the future" the card everyone wanted.
We had it already in previous expansions, this one however can be played at any time which sounds cool
weird in the german game the first barking kitten explodes if the second barking kitten is played
and you have to defuse or die.

What is the difference of Garbage Collector and Potluck cards?
Potluck puts them on top. Garbage collection shuffles them into the deck. Basically potluck+shuffle=garbage collection.
Can you buy this for the party pack as well? I heard they might have different backs.
I though the party pack was a stand alone game which isn't compatible with any of the expansions but adds up to 10 players
