Please check GMC website for information on dates. That website is your best bet when it comes to updated information on dates and things. You anyway would be booking your exam via GMC website.

1. Depends on how long they give you the visa for. Some people have gotten it for shorter duration but most occasions it’s upto 6 months. 2. You need to prebook your exam. You can’t come in here and book it. Please check GMC website to book PLAB test dates. 3. Again details of each exam’s results date are on GMC website 4. Apply for GMC registration on GMC website post results 5. Varies person to person as you would need to submit the required documents, they would need to check it etc. 6. You apply for Tier2 visa extension based off your contract for next job. It’s all pretty much self explanatory on www.gov.uk website.

The process of becoming a consultant has got nothing to do with royal college exams. You need to do core training and then speciality training to becomes a consultant. Also, they don’t recognise post graduation from other countries here for you to become a consultant. For you to be a consultant here you need to train here. You could be a middle grade doctor here if you have trained outside. Or apply for CESR pathway to become a consultant. It’s a long explanation, I will make further videos later. In the meanwhile GMC website has all answers to your queries. Feel free to check.

You could join a group on Facebook called PLAB. A lot of study material is on it in files section. You could alternatively ask people there as a lot has changed since I gave the exam 3+ years back.
Is internship necessary before giving plab ? And what if you have a gap between your degree completion and internship ,will that affect my registration ??
I think GMC deals with each case individually. So you need to have a valid explanation for all kinds of gaps. Also, you would need to complete internship and get your degree before booking PLAB.

@@Drzeezy thank you... there is not much information on internet regarding this topic... i was preparing for post graduate entrance exams in my home country but it got delayed because of covid.. and now i have a clinical break of 2 years... so i have recently joined a job just for c.v.... is it worth it?.. managing job and study is a task in itself... also if you could share info on how much time is required to acquire a job after g.m c registration and can we give interviews from our home country or do we have to travel there and live on our own expenses?..
You can give interviews remotely. How much time it will take for you to secure a job depends on well you do in job interviews. Can’t put a time on that!

Don’t think getting surgery is possible through plab. Almost impossible for IMGs .

Examiners don’t know who you are, where you are from, what you are doing outside that GMC building other than your candidate number.

You can create a GMC account at anytime. In your case, now will be a good time or after appearing for IELTS.
And I am a bonded candidate under 2 years compulsory rural services after MBBs. Am I still allowed to give PLAB???
