What I like about this game is that it's one of the many SpongeBob games that makes the characters' personalities a slight bit smarter than their cartoon counterparts. For example, Patrick, of all people, thought of using the anchor to across the gap since SpongeBob wasn’t around.
I've noticed that too even though mr. Krabs is mute in the game it doesn't take away from the background and beauty of the scenes. I also like how the voice of LRH is deeper than his cartoon counterpart his game version I definitely see him as a leader and king with a deep voice it really fits him well the va that the creators chose
all the spongebob ps2 games were so good..i got the movie game for my 4th or 5th birthday it's my favorite of all those...battle for bikini bottom comes after that..lights camera pants was cool as well as the revenge of the flying dutchman and it was always so weird because it was english only (i'm german xd)

I miss this game A LOT. I wish I was still able to play it on my old PS2 But, the disc got broke and I always used to play it when I was little. And yes, My PS2 still works after all these freaking years. Also, is spongebob Jon Bon Jovi? I also still wonder why Mr. Krabs doesn't talk.

Even though it might not be everyone's go-to SpongeBob game, it's the one that oozes the most nostalgia. The number of memories I have playing this on the Wii are almost countless, and the best part is that even though I've had it for going on 15 years, it still works flawlessly.
This game was so much fun, my favorite level is when you get to control Plankton in the tank, shooting ice cream. the part that was the hardest was the level where you have to walk through Atlantis, while avoiding the traps in the palace

I was talking with my friends as we were playing a rhythm game and I remembered from the depths of my furthest memories as a child that there was a spongebob game that had a rhythm level and a puzzle dungeon in the same game. My friends thought I was mentally deranged and I almost believed them thinking that this game was a vision I had made up. After searching the farthest reaches of Wikipedia for all spongebob games, I saw the cover art for this game and thought "That is exactly what I remember." So, long story short, I am not mentally deranged and this game does exist. Thank you for confirming that I am sane. 😅
As a kid, I remembered I was scared to play mission 13 since it was the hardest mission to do, but over time, I got courage to play it and I have beat this level multiple times.

I remember playing this on the wii when I was a kid. I played this a lot of times and this was still fun. This is one of my best childhood video games of all time along side with mario galaxy and galaxy 2.
