I have a severe snow allergy so I don't live there anymore. :-) Thanks for making the video for the oil change. I'm due for my first out of BMW's free service interval oil change next month. I see you don't have the covers on the stiffener plate either. My CPO 2018 M550i doesn't have them though I was able to source the oil drain plug area cover from my dealer. No one could find a part number for the oil filter area cover. BTW: Nice lift and red car.

I thought my 550i 2012 n63 was burning oil, maybe it was maybe it wasn't . but after an oil change a month later, engine light came on to add oil. went to dealer got my free oil a few times before I realized they never screwed in the oil drain plug correctly and it leaked slowly on my driveway.
This car has engine oil dipstick! It is located right next to the oil filler cap. Go to 9:16 in your video and it is right next to the the funnel on the right side.

LOL -- yeah, no. 🤣 That's the lifting loop for an engine hoist connection. BMWs don't have dipsticks anymore and haven't for years and years.
