Probably for such good people(the ones who fed the dog and finally rescued them) God hasn't erased human "civilization" still.

The owner discovering the dog and petting it was absolutely heartbreaking. I couldn't imagine finding my pet in that condition.
Right? And having to confront the one who they thought would take care of their dog, but didn't. The dog arguably had it worse since it suffered and died because of this, but the owner also suffers the pain of losing her companion for the rest of her life.
Sorry but that owner isn't excused for me ether and i am not even certain she wasn't making theatre that she cared so much because she saw the police getting involved etc.
But whether her sadness was real or not she can't be excused for leaving her dog to such a person and honestly if she has to travel all the time due to her work she shouldn't have a dog. Dogs are animals that need their owner to be there for them. You can't have a dog like that. She should have given her dog to someone else that can be there for the dog.
Dog should be in homes with an owner that come be with them daily or a family which someone will always be around even if one member leaves for a trip etc.
I found my cat like this. Hardest thing ever. Seriously took me four years before I could look at a cat again without crying

The fact that she cares about them and even wanted to get a companion for her other dog so they wouldn’t be lonely shows something. She thought everything was okay and was being lied to for years and only just figured out what had happened. I can hear the pain in that scream, that wasn’t theatrics. Please don’t be such an ass and assume she was like the motel owner. To find your dog in that state when you’d been told it was alive and well is honestly heartbreaking. So just stop it

I feel bad for this poor woman, she left her trust in someone who didn't deserve it and the screams she let out when she found her poor dog are haunting. Those were shrieks of pure pain.

The nerve of that lady makes me so angry. She even had the audacity to try and escape with the dog leading to her just trying to choke it while those caring people try to pry the leash from her cold heartless hands. It make me upset to see a dead animal frozen and stuck to ground only to be left there for days. The owner was not even notified of the death. I can sense the pain from the owners voice and how heartbroken she was to find out the sad truth. I can't express how ashamed I am of being a humanlike those monsters. Those people disgust me. I lost my cat recently, seeing her dead body was heart breaking. I can’t imagine the pain the dog owner felt finding her dead dog so skinny literally frozen to the rooftop.
When she tried peeling him up but couldn’t, I cried for her and the dead dog.
She was betrayed by the Motel Owner, the owner and her son left the dogs to freeze and starve to death all while lying to the owner that they were being cared for.

If you cant take care of a dog or neglect it, either give it to a dog daycare or something, or ask someone else to take care of it.

One day I had to leave my house and trusted two of my close friends to take care of my rabbit while I was gone. When I came back I saw my rabbit laying on the floor dead. The annoying part is that when I asked them what happened, they stood there like they didn't know what I was talking about. I never talked to them ever since.

the amount of respect i have for the owner is unmeasurable. imagine having so much trust in a friend and her son to take care of your 2 dogs, your children, and only to come back with one (barely). and the fact that the owner was able to control her anger is just so...wow. she was able to accept her dog’s passing and wish him a peaceful rest but then look on the bright side that she still has her other dog. what a woman. i hope she never had to deal with that kind of pain again. her and her dog deserve happiness again.
The owner of the dogs never asked for this. She must've been sad because she'd been lied to, their dogs were either dead or malnourished and in bad shape and just the fact she put all her trust in someone so horrible. It must've been a really bad time for her and I am surprised she managed to hold a lot of her emotions back, if it was me I'd already be on top of the motel owner taking revenge, not because I wanted to, but because of the overhaul of emotions going on.

I don't know what medically open eyes mean, but I got from his open eyes that he was *killed*. Apparently he didn't die naturally, he was fighting to survive, he wasn't ready to surrender his soul and pass on. I'm feeling so sorrowful for him, a death like that is very remorseful and heart breaking, we can't just say "it's his time", I wanna send his soul a lot of love, warmth and compassion he died in hunger, fear and cruelty.

Seeing the actually owner of the dead dog realize her precious pet was gone made me so SAD
Seeing that the dog died made me sad but every second she was on screen I felt nothing but hate. I dont feel a single ounce of pity for her. SHE did that. Shes a horrible awful human. She deserves to be left chained on a roof with no food or water and sat in her own excrement next to a human body for a month and see how she likes it

I have 2 rats and one was very close to death. She got stuck in a hole and I had to get her free. And she was choking when I got her out, purple lips. She had a harness on so I took it off right away and held her close giving her many kisses I panicked when I was trying to free her. I was crying and shaking after freezing her. And told her I would never let u run around in on the kitchen floor EVER again. And now she hates the kitchen.
I lost 2 of my cats, and I totally understood how the owner felt. I'm still crying while typing this, 'cause it really hurts.

I'm not the same as the owner for wishing her the same fate cuz I wouldn't actually act on my thoughts, but.. they did.. they left a soul starve and freeze to death and the one that was still alive, suffer neglection, hunger and thirst covered in shit.. I had my dog poisoned last summer and mine wasn't the first or the last. 6 dogs and 3 cats in my neighbourhood!!
Honestly, I really do feel like the world would be a better place without those heartless monsters that think it's ok to do that to someone's pet.. I wouldn't really act on it, but I instead rely on karma to take care of it and allow myself to have some gruesome thoughts regarding that person just to let off some steam and frustration. Atleast in South Korea the police take it extremely seriously. Doing investigations, questioning the accused, doing everything they can to help the animals.
Here in the US the police always say “We can’t help with that, go to animal control” but then animal control just says “sorry we can’t help without the police getting involved and getting evidence”. The lady was right, we all need laws to allow people to bust in to save the animals... because that’s what people would do for a human.
