Ooh, this reminded me of my drawf hamster ! Little dude lived up to four years old, and was energetic until the end. If you want to help them through it when they're old, give them an almond every once in a while- I'm sure this kept my old man alive a few days more. They're wonderful pets,and may they have a long and happy life with you! Also, to tame them, it's not too hard. Just, leave them alone the first day. They're stressed out and still discovering their environment. I'd say the third day is when you can start introducing your hand to them. Let them smell it, or give them treats by hand ! Yeah, you might get bit. But it's worth it ! Mine climbed on my arms every time, because he knew that it meant exploring time. I hope you guys share the bond that we had !

i had a pearl winter white and a normal winter white… i gave them a huge playhouse, plenty of food and water, exercise equipment, and lots of love. In the end, they both passed away at the age of 3. RIP Cookie and Peanut 🙏

I actually have the exact same kind of dwarf hamster, as soon as I got it I wanted to name it cheeks. But, I fed it carrots out of my hand to try and tame it. My hamster loved them. Then, I tried other vegetables. She didn’t want anything to do with them. So, I named her Carrots because of you her for carrots!
